These improvements of the Penguin Wars 2 game have been made by Tsunami & Max Iwamoto with some help from BiFiMSX. Version 1.0 has been released on 20 december 2009.

There are different improvements and bugfixes :

- Made some small adjustments to the font.
- Changed the K banner in the emperor penguin's throne room to an E banner.
- Added a feature to enable or disable the R800 mode on MSX Turbo-R computers.
- Added a feature to start game in NTSC mode on PAL computers (hold key "6"
   before the intro screen appears).
- Fixed a bug so (internal) MSX-Music is recognised on MSX2+ and Turbo-R
   computers.
- Fixed a bug so you can use the S-RAM of an (FM-)PAC on MSX2+ and Turbo-R
   computers

Besides, there's now an English version of the game :

- Full translation of all the texts in the game.
- New translated intro screen.

Controls of the game : 

- CURSOR KEYS : move UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT.

- SPACE : in menu -> accept option; in game -> throw ball.

- Hold SPACE : if you have ball in hand -> throw ball fast.

- F1 : in game -> PAUSE.
	     
- 6 : Start game in 60Hz NTSC mode. Hold it until Penguin Wars 2 logo appears.

- SELECT : Switch ON/OFF the turbo mode (R800 mode).

- Penguin-kun_Wars_2_Improvements.rom : the improved and bugfixed Japanese rom
- Penguin-kun_Wars_2_Improvements_en.rom : the improved and bugfixed English rom

This Passion MSX / MSX blue package is a service to the MSX community, whose a significant majority does not want to lose time and motivation when trying to find the good rom to be patched. All the pleasure provided by the fantastic work of the coders is spoiled when only IPS patches are made available.
