오늘날 여러 제도가 사회를 만든다

정치제도, 사법제도, 종교제도에서
사회계급, 익숙한 가치관, 직업전문화까지 있다

이런 전통구조가 우리의 가치관을 형성하는 데에
엄청난 영향을 준 것은 분명하다

 

우리가 사회제도 속에 태어났고
그 영향을 받았지만

통화체제처럼 당연하게 생각하지만
많은 오해를 하고 있는 제도가 없다

기존의 통화체제는 거의 종교처럼 되어
가장 의심을 받지 않는 믿음이 되었다

돈을 어떻게 만들고, 어떤 정책에 따르고
사회에 어떻게 영향을 주는지 대부분이 모른다

 

세계에서 1%의 사람이 40%의 부를 갖고 있다

날마다 3만4천명의 아이들이 가난과
치료할 수 있는 병으로 죽어간다

인구의 50%가 하루 2달러 미만으로 살아간다

한 가지는 분명하다

뭔가 크게 잘못됐다

우리가 알든 모르든, 우리가 만든 제도와 사회가
피의 댓가로 치루는 것이 돈이다

그래서 통화정책제도를 이해하는 것이
우리 삶이 이렇게 된 이유를 아는 데에 중요하다

불행히도 경제학은 어렵고 따분하다

금융용어와 무서운 수학으로 도배를 하고 있어서

그것을 이해하려는 사람들을 곧 포기하게 만든다

그러나 금융체계의 복잡성은 가면에 불과하다

역사상 가장 사람들을 무력하게 만드는
제도라는 것을 감추기 위한 것이다

 

자신이 자유롭다고 착각하는 사람보다
심하게 노예가 된 사람은 없다

몇 년전 미국 중앙은행 연방준비제도는
"현대 통화흐름"이라는 문서를 만들었다

이것은 전세계 상업은행망을 떠받치는,
연방준비제도가 돈을 만드는 과정을 설명한다

첫 장에 문서의 목적이 나온다

이 문서의 목적은 지불준비제도 안에서
돈을 만드는 기본과정을 설명하는 것이다

그 다음 여러가지 금융용어를 써서
지불준비제도를 설명한다

그것을 알기 쉽게 설명하면 다음과 같다

미국 정부가 돈을 찍어내기로 결정한다

그래서 연방준비제도에 연락해서
100억 달러를 요청한다

연방준비제도가 승낙하면서
100억 달러 재무부 채권을 사들인다

정부는 종이를 사서
공식적으로 보이는 그림을 거기에 그리고

재무부 채권이라고 한다
그러면 100억 달러의 가치가 생긴다

그것을 연방준비제도에 보낸다
그 댓가로 연방준비제도는 자신이 만든 인상적인 종이다발을 건넨다

이 상태의 종이를 연방준비권이라고 한다

마찬가지로 100억 달러의 가치가 있다

연방준비제도는 연방준비권과 채권을 교환한다

교환이 끝나면 정부는 100억 달러를
연방준비권을 갖게 되고 은행계좌에 입금한다

그러면 지폐를 예금함으로써 공식적으로 법정통화가 되어

미국 통화량이 100억 달러 늘어난다

+ 100억 달러
그렇다! 100억 달러의 돈이 생긴 것이다

물론, 이것은 간단한 설명이다

실제로 이 교환은 전자적으로 일어난다

종이를 전혀 쓰지 않는다

실은 미국 화폐량의 3%만이
실제 화폐로 존재한다

나머지 97%는 컴퓨터에만 존재한다

재무부 채권은 본래 채무증서다

연방준비제도가 느닷없이 만들어낸 돈으로
이 채권을 구입하면

정부는 그 돈을 연방준비제도에
갚기로 약속하는 것이다

다른 말로, 돈은 빚에서 생긴 것이다

돈 = 빚
조금 더 알아보면 돈이 빚(채무)에서 생겼다는
어처구니 없는 사실이 분명해진다

교환이 끝나면 100억 달러가
시중은행 계좌에 들어간다

여기부터 재밌어진다
지불준비제도 때문에

그 100억 달러 예금이
순식간에 은행의 준비금이 된다

모든 예금이 마찬가지다

"현대통화흐름"에서 말한 것처럼
지불준비율이란 이렇다

은행은 규정된 예금비율에 맞게
법적인 준비율을 맞춰야 한다

그 양은 다음과 같다

"현재 규정에 따르면 준비율은 10%이다"

이것은 100억 달러 예금이 있으면
그 10% 또는 10억 달러를 준비금으로 보유한다는 말이다

나머지 90억 달러는 초과준비금이 되어
대출자금으로 쓸 수 있다

예금 10억
100억 달러 예금에서 90억 달러가 생긴 것이다

그러나 실제로는 이렇지 않다
실은 100억 달러 예금에서
90억 달러가 느닷없이 생긴 것이다

90억 + 100억 = 190억
이런 식으로 통화량이 늘어난다

"현대통화흐름"에 있는 내용처럼

"당연히 그들 은행은 예금으로 받은 돈에서 생긴
대출금에 대해 갚지 않는다"

"그들이 갚아버리면
추가적인 돈이 생기지 않는다"

"대출을 할 때 은행은
약속어음(대출증서)을 받는다"

그 댓가로 신용(돈)을 차용자에게 준다

즉, 90억 달러가 난데없이 생기는 것이다

단지 지불준금율을 맞추는 100억 달러가 있고
그런 대출요구가 있기 때문이다

이제 사람들이 은행으로 들어가
새로 생긴 90억 달러를 빌린다

그들은 돈을 받아서
그것을 자신의 계좌에 예금한다

 

이 과정이 반복된다
그 예금이 지불준비금이 된다

10%를 떼내고 90억 달러의 90%(81억 달러)가
더 많은 대출을 할 수 있는 돈으로 새로 생긴다

물론 81억 달러는 대출되었다가 예금되어
72억, 65억, 59억처럼 이어진다

이렇게 예금으로 대출을 만드는 과정이
이론상 무한정 반복된다

원래 100억 달러에서 생길 수 있는 돈은
최대 900억 달러가 된다

즉, 은행에서 발생하는 모든 예금에 대해
9배의 돈이 난데없이 생긴다

돈이 급한 사람이 당장 돈을 빌리기 위해
미국 은행을 찾습니다

편리한 개인대출형태로 "돈"을 받죠

 

이제 우리는 지급준비제도로
돈이 어떻게 생기는지 알았다

논리적이지만 알쏭달쏭한 의문이 든다

"이렇게 새로 생긴 돈의 가치는 어디에서 생기나?"

대답은 "돈은 이미 있다"는 것이다

새로운 돈은 기본적으로
이미 있는 돈의 가치를 훔친다

총통화량이 재화와 서비스에 상관없이 늘었고
공급과 수요가 균형을 맞추려 하기 때문에

가격은 오르고
달러가 가지는 구매력이 줄어든다

이것을 인플레이션이라고 한다
인플레이션은 기본적으로 감추어진 세금이다

쉽게 무슨 말을 듣죠?
통화가 팽창한다고 합니다

"통화가치가 하락한다"고 하지 않습니다
"통화가치가 떨어진다"고 하지 않습니다

"건실한 사람을 속인다"고 말하지 않습니다
그들은 "이자율을 낮춘다"고 합니다

진짜 사기는 돈의 가치를 떨어뜨리고
난데없이 돈이 생기지만 우리에게 저금이 없다는 것입니다

하지만 자본이 있습니다
그래서 제가 이런 의문이 듭니다

도대체 어떻게 인플레이션을
해결할 수 있느냐는 겁니다

더 많은 인플레이션으로
통화량을 늘리면..

물론 해결할 수 없다. 돈을 늘리는
지불준비제도는 근본적으로 통화팽창적이다

경제에서 재화와 서비스가 늘지 않는데
통화량이 늘어나면 언제나 통화가치가 떨어진다

미국 달러의 가치변화를 살펴보면
통화량과 반대로 움직이는 것이 잘 드러난다

역의 관계가 분명하다

 

1913년의 1달러는 2007년 21.6달러와 같다

94년만에 96% 평가절하
연방준비제도가 생긴 이후 96% 평가절하된 것이다

 

본질적으로 영원히 통화팽창하는 것이
터무니 없고, 경제적 자멸이라는 생각이 들어도

생각을 접어두자. 금융체제가 어떻게 움직이는지 안다면
터무니없다는 말은 그것을 줄여서 하는 말이다

우리 금융체제에서
돈은 빚이고, 빚은 돈이기 때문이다

이것은 1950년부터 2006년까지 미국 통화량 그래프이다

이것은 같은 기간 미국 국가채무 그래프이다

재밌는 것은 기울기가 똑같다는 것이다

돈이 많으면
빚이 많다

빚이 많으면
돈이 많다

다르게 생각하면, 당신 지갑에 있는 달러는
누가 누구에게 빚지고 있다는 말이다

"돈은 대출을 통해서만 생긴다"는 것을 기억하다

그래서 정부를 포함하여 모든 사람이
모든 빚을 갚을 수 있으면

단 1달러도 돌지 않게 된다

 

우리 통화체제에서 빚이 없으면
한 푼의 돈도 없다
- 머리너 에키스 (연방준비제도 총재)
1941년 9월 30일

미국 역사에서 국가부채를 마지막으로 완전히 갚은 것은
앤드류 잭슨이 중앙은행을 폐쇄한 1835년이다

잭슨의 정치기반은 중앙은행을 폐쇄한 조치 때문에 생겼다

한 가지 지적하자면, 정부를
조종하려는 은행의 과감한 노력은

미국사람들이 속아서 영원히 이 제도나
그 비슷한 것에 빠지는 운명의 전조였다
- 앤드류 잭슨 대통령(1967-1845)

불행히도 이 말은 금방 잊혀졌다

국제금융가들이 1913년 또다른 중앙은행,
연방준비제도를 만드는 데 성공했다

이 기구가 존재하는 동안
영구 부채가 보장된다

지금까지 대출을 통해 빚에서
돈이 생기는 현실을 살펴봤다

이런 대출은 은행준비금을 기초로 하고
준비금은 예금에서 파생된다

준비금제도를 통해 예금이
원래보다 9배의 가치를 만든다

그 결과 이미 있는 통화의 가치가 떨어져
사회에서 가격이 오른다

이 모든 돈이 빚에서 생겨서
거래를 통해 수시로 유통되기 때문에

사람들은 원래 빚과 떨어지기 된다 사람들이 생활비를 벌기 위해
통화량에서 필요한 돈을 구하려고

일자리를 놓고 경쟁하도록
몰리면서 불균형이 생긴다

이 모든 것이 기능장애와 퇴로로 보이지만
아직도 방정식에서 빠진 것이 하나 있다

그것은 체제가 갖는 속임수를
드러내는 구조적 요소이다

이자가 그것이다

정부가 연방준비제도로부터 돈을 빌리거나
개인이 은행에서 돈을 빌리면

항상 이자와 함께 갚아야 한다

즉, 모든 달러는 이자와 같이 은행에 되돌려주어야 한다

"원금은 통화량"
그러나 모든 돈을 중앙은행에서 빌리고
일반은행이 대출을 통해 늘리면

원금이 통화량에서 생겨난다
그러면 이자를 갚기 위한 돈은 어디 있나?

없다
존재하지 않는다

이런 일은 놀라운 것이다
은행에 갚아야 할 돈의 양이 항상

돌고 있는 돈의 양보다 많기 때문이다

그래서 인플레이션이 늘 있는 것이다

영구 적자를 감추기 위해
항상 새 돈이 필요하다

이자를 갚기 위해 필요하기 때문이다

이것은 수학적으로 지불불능과 파산을 뜻하고
체제에 그대로 연결되어 있다

그래서 항상 손해를 보는
불쌍한 사람이 있다

"의자에 앉기" 놀이에 비유할 수 있다
음악이 멈추면 누군가는 앉지 못한다

그게 요점이다. 변함없이 진짜 재산이
개인으로부터 은행으로 옮겨진다

당신이 부채를 갚지 못하면
은행이 당신 재산을 가져간다

지불준비제도에서 그런 지불불능이 필연적이고

은행이 대출한 돈이 법적으로도 존재하지
않는다는 것을 깨닫게 되면 더 화가 나게 된다

1969년 제롬 데일리라는 사람이 관련된
미네소타 재판이 있다

그는 대출 은행이 저당물을 돌려주지
않겠다고 결정한 처분에 대항했다

저당계약에 따르면 양 당사자(데일리와 은행)가
계약을 위해 합법적인 소유권을 제공해야 한다

법률용어로 "법률행위의 원인"이라고 한다

 

데일리는 그 돈이 실은
은행의 재산이 아니라고 했다

돈이 차용계약서에 서명하는 순간
난데없이 생겼기 때문이다

"현대통화흐름"에서 대출에 대해
설명한 것이 기억나나?

대출을 할 때 그들이 하는 것은
약속어음을 받고 신용을 주는 것이다

대출계약으로 준비금은 변하지 않는다
하지만 대출된 돈이 은행의 총예금에 더해진다

즉, 돈이 이미 있는 자산에서 생기지 않은 것이다

은행은 종이에 가상의 부채를 적는 것 이외에
아무 것도 들이지 않고 그저 돈을 만든 것이다

재판이 진행되면서 은행장 모건씨가 발언했다

판사의 개인기록에
원고(은행)도 연방준비은행과 같이

장부기록만으로 돈과 신용을
만들어 냈다는 사실을 인정했다고 적혀 있다

그들이 만드는 순간
돈과 신용은 생겼다

모건씨는 미국 법규에 따르면 그가
그럴 권한이 없다는 것을 인정했다

"법률행위의 원인"이 있어야 계약이 성립한다
(한국에서도 법률행위의 원인 없으면 계약이 성립하지 않는다)

배심원단은 "법률행위의 원인"이
없다고 생각했고, 나도 그렇게 생각한다

판사는 시적인 표현도 덧붙였다
"오직 신만이 무에서 가치있는 것을 창조할 수 있다"

법원은 은행의 담보물 반환불가 처분을 기각하고
데일리는 자신의 집을 지켰다

이 판결이 시사하는 것은 엄청나다

은행에서 돈을 빌릴 때마다
저당 대출을 하거나 신용카드 대금청구를 한다

당신에게 준 돈은 가짜일 뿐만 아니라
불법적인 "법률행위의 원인"이다

그래서 상환계약은 무효가 된다
은행은 재산과 같이 돈을 가지고 있지 않았기 때문이다

불행히도 이 판결은 감춰지고 무시되었다

그래서 영원한 부의 이동과 영원한 빚이 이어진다

그래서 근본적인 의문이 든다
"왜 그런가?"

남북전쟁 동안 링컨 대통령은
유럽 은행이 제공한 높은 대출이자율을 피하기 위해

건국의 아버지들이 옹호한 일을 하기로 결정했다

그것은 독립적이고, 빚이 없는 통화를 만드는 일이다

그것을 "그린백"이라고 한다

이 조치가 나오자 영국과 미국의 은행관계자간에
내부문서가 교환되었다

"노예제도는 노동력만 소유하지만
그와 함께 노동자를 보살펴야 한다"

"하지만 유럽의 계획은 자본이
임금을 통제하여 노동력을 통제한다"

"이것은 돈을 통제함으로써 가능하다"
"우리가 통제할 수 없으면 그린백을 허용하면 안된다"

세계 대부분의 은행에 퍼진 준비금제도는
사실 현대판 노예제도이다

 

생각해 보자. 돈은 빚에서 나온다
빚을 지면 사람들이 무엇을 하나?

사람들은 그것을 갚기 위해 고용된다

하지만 돈이 빚에서 생기는데
사회가 어떻게 빚에서 자유로울 수 있나?

불가능하다
그것이 요점이다

그것은 재산을 지키고, 잃지 않으려는 두려움이다

결코 갚을 수 없는 이자로 생겨난 통화량 자체에

피할 수 없는 희소성이 있는 체제 안에서
영원한 빚과 내재적인 통화팽창과 함께 한다

그래서 임금노예가 줄을 서게 만든다

다람쥐쳇바퀴 돌듯
수 백만명이 쳇바퀴 돈다

피라밋의 정상에 있는 엘리트에게만
이득이 되는 제국을 강화한다

세상이 끝나는 날, 당신은 진정 누구를 위해 일했나?

은행을 위해서 일했다!

은행에서 돈이 생기고
은행에서 돈이 사라진다

그들은 진정한 주인이다
여러 기관과 정부가 그들은 떠받든다

노예제도는 재우고 먹여야 하는 사람이 필요하다

경제적 노예제도는 스스로 먹고 자는 사람들이 필요하다

그것은 가장 잘 만든 사회적 조작기술이다

그 핵심에 사람들에 대한
보이지 않는 전쟁이 있다

빚은 사회를 노예로 만들기 위한 무기이고
이자는 중요한 총알이다

대다수가 이런 현실을 잊고 걸어다니는 동안
은행은 정부와 기관들과 공모하여

경제전쟁 전술을 다듬고 확장한다

세계은행이나 IMF 같은 새 기지를 세우고
새로운 병사를 만들어 낸다

경제적 암살자가 태어났다

 

제2부
국가를 정복하고 노예로 만드는 데에는
두 가지 방법이 있다. 무력과 빚이 그것이다

우리 경제적 암살자들은 진정한 지구 제국을
처음으로 건설한 사람들입니다

우리는 다양한 방법으로 일하지만
일반적으로 기름같은 자원을 가진 나라를 파악합니다

그러면 세계은행이나 그 비슷한 기관이
그 나라에 막대한 대출을 하도록 합니다

하지만 돈이 실제로 그 나라로 가지는 않죠
대신에 그 나라에 기반시설을 세우는 우리나라 큰 회사에 가죠

발전소, 산업단지, 항구...
그 나라의 소수 부자들에게 이익을 주죠

우리 회사들도 이익을 얻죠
하지만 대부분은 이익을 얻지 못합니다

그러나 나라 전체가 엄청난 빚을 안게 됩니다

빚이 너무 많아서 갚을 수가 없습니다
그것이 계획입니다

그들은 갚을 수 없죠! 그래서 어떤 시점에
우리 경제적 암살자가 그들에게 가서

"당신은 돈을 많이 잃었어. 빚을 갚을 수 없어.
그러니... 당신네 기름을 팔아"

우리 석유회사에게 싸게 팔아야
우리가 당신 나라에 군가기지를 세워서"

"군대를 보내 이라크 같이 다른 나라에서
하는 것처럼 우리 재산을 지키든가"

"다음 유엔회의에서 우리쪽에 투표하지"
"당신네 전력회사나 상하수도회사를 민영화하는 투표를 해서"

"미국 회사나 다국적 기업에 파는 거지"

그렇게 퍼뜨리는 겁니다
IMF나 세계은행이 하는 일이죠

그들이 한 나라에 갚을 수 없는 빚을 안깁니다

그 다음 빚을 갚도록 돈을 제공하면서
더 많은 이자를 받습니다

그러면서 요구하죠
그 댓가로 융자조건이나 법률개선을 요구합니다

그것은 기본적으로 자원을 팔도록 하거나
공공 서비스 회사나 전력회사, 교육제도,

사법제도, 보험제도 따위를 외국기업에 팔도록 합니다
그래서 두 배, 세 배, 네 배 바가지를 씁니다

 

이란 1953년
경제적 암살자는 50년대 초반으로
거슬러 올라갑니다

모사덱이 이란에서 민주적으로 선출되자
중동이나 세계 민주주의에 대한 희망이어서

타임지에 올해의 인물이 되었습니다
그러나 외국 석유회사가 이란 국민에게

더 많은 석유를 지불해야 하고
이란 국민이 석유에서 이익을 얻어야 한다고 주장했죠

이상한 정책이죠
우리는 그게 맘에 들지 않았죠

하지만 군대를 보내기 부담스러워
CIA 요원 커밋 루스벨트(테트 루스벨트의 친척)를 보냈죠

커밋은 겨우 몇 백만 달러를 갖고 가서
일을 아주 잘 처리해서 짧은 기간에

모사덱을 축출하고
이란의 샤를 데려왔죠

샤는 석유회사에 우호적이라
아주 효과가 좋았습니다

이란 폭동

폭도들이 테헤란을 지납니다
군 장교들이 모사덱에게 항복하라고 외칩니다

이란 독재가 끝났습니다
정서가 바뀌자 샤의 초상화가 거리를 누빕니다

 

- 샤는 환영받습니다
- 그리고 미국 워싱턴으로 돌아와

와! 정말 쉽고 싸게 먹혔네!

그렇게 나라를 조종하고, 제국을 만들
새로운 방법을 찾게 된 것입니다

루스벨트의 문제는 그가 CIA 요원이라는 점뿐입니다

그가 붙잡히면 사태가 심각해질 수 있었습니다

그래서 당시 재빨리 세계은행이나 IMF를 통해
돈을 공급할 개인 고문단을 쓰기로 결정했습니다

일반회사에서 일하는
저 같은 사람을 고용했죠

우리가 체포되더라도
정부와 관계가 없습니다

 

1954년 과테말라

 

하코보 아르벤스 구스만
1951년에서 1954년까지 콰테말라 대통령
아르벤스가 콰테말라의 대통령이 되었을 때
유나이티드 프룻이 큰 영향력을 갖고 있었습니다

거대 다국적 기업과 아르벤스가
농지분배를 놓고 싸우게 되었습니다

그가 권력을 잡자 농민들에게
땅을 돌려주는 정책을 폈습니다

유나이티드 프룻은 이게 맘에 들지 않았죠
그래서 광고회사를 고용하여 미국에서 크게 선전을 했죠

일반 시민, 미국 언론, 미국 의회에 대해서 말이죠
아르벤스는 소련 꼭두각시다

그가 권력을 잡고 있으면
소련이 이쪽에 발판을 마련할 것이다

당시 모두가 적색테러,
공산주의 테러에 무척 겁을 냈습니다

그래서 긴 이야기가 생깁니다. 이 사람을 쫓아내기 위해
광고회사에서 CIA와 군대에서 할 일을 정했습니다

실은 우리가 한 짓이죠! 우리가 비행기를 보내고,
군인을 보내고, 앞잡이를 보냈죠

그를 쫓아내기 위해 모든 걸 보냈습니다
그래서 그를 쫓아냈죠

그를 자리에서 몰아내자마자
다음 대통령은 기본적으로 유나이티드 프룻을 포함한

다국적 기업에게 모든 것을 보장했죠

 

1981년 에콰도르
에콰도르는 오랫동안 친미 독재자가 지배했습니다
그들은 비교적 잔인했죠

그러다가 진정한 민주선거를 하기로 결정했습니다

1979년에서 1981년까지 에콰도르 대통령

차베스는 미국에 맞섰죠

그는 베네수엘라 석유를 베네수엘라
국민들을 돕는 데 쓰자고 주장했죠

우리 미국에서는 그게 맘에 들지 않았죠

그래서 2002년 쿠데타가 일어났습니다
저나 다른 사람들은 CIA가 배후라고 생각했죠

 

쿠데타가 일어난 방식을 보면
커밋 루스벨트가 이란에서 했던 것과 같습니다

사람들을 고용하여, 거리로 나가
차베스가 인기가 없다고 말하고

그런 방식으로 우리는 진짜 제국을 만들었습니다
하지만 우리는 아주 아주 조심스럽게 일했습니다

그것은 비밀이죠
과거 모든 제국이 군사력으로 세워졌습니다

군대가 제국을 세운 것을 모두가 다 압니다

영국인들도 알고, 프랑스, 독일인,
로마인, 그리스인들도 압니다

그리고 그들은 그것을 자랑스러워합니다
문명을 퍼뜨린다, 종교를 퍼뜨린다, 그 비슷한 핑계가 항상 있습니다

하지만 무슨 짓을 하는지 알았죠
우리가 몰랐습니다

미국 대부분의 사람들은 비밀제국의 혜택으로
무엇을 잃는지 전혀 모르고 있습니다

오늘날 세계는 어느 때보다
노예제도가 널리 퍼졌습니다

기업에서 나오는 돈으로

그들은 선거운동에 돈을 대기 때문에
우리 정치인들을 조종합니다

그들은 선출되지 않고 임기도 없습니다
아무에게도 보고하지 않습니다

기업가정치의 정상에서 보면
누가 기업이나 정부를 위해 일하는지 알 수 있습니다

그래서 한때는 핼리버튼처럼
큰 건설회사 회사 회장이 그런 사람이고

다음에는 미국 부통령이 그런 사람이고
아니면 석유사업에 있었던 대통령이죠

민주당이 되든 공화당이 되든
이것이 진실입니다

회전문처럼 왔다갔다 합니다

어떤 의미로 우리 정부는 대부분 들여다 볼 수 없습니다
정책은 최고자리에 있는 우리 기업들이 실행합니다

그래서 정부 정책을 기본적으로
기업가정치에서 만들어서 정부에 제출하고

그것들이 정부 정책이 됩니다
믿을 수 없을 정도로 편안한 관계입니다

이것은 음모론과는 다릅니다
이 사람들은 모여서 음모를 꾸밀 필요가 없습니다

그들은 기본적으로 한 가지 전제를 깔고 일합니다
그것은 사회적, 환경적 비용에 상관없이 이윤을 극대화하는 것이죠

사회적, 환경적 비용에 상관없이

빚, 뇌물, 정치적 전복을 통해
기업가정치가 조작하는 이 과정을 "세계화"라고 한다

세계화
연방준비제도가 영구부채, 인플레이션, 이자 따위로
미국 대중을 무기한 고용계약에 묶어두는 것처럼

세계은행, IMF가 전세계에서 그런 일을 한다
기본적인 속임수는 간단하다

한 나라에 빚을 안겨
지도자를 타락시키거나 탈선시킨다

그 다음 융자조건이나 구조조정 정책을 부과한다
대개 다음과 같이 한다

통화가치 절하
통화가치가 떨어지면

모든 가격이 떨어진다. 그러면 약탈국이
그 나라의 자원을 헐값에 이용할 수 있다

사회 프로그램에 대해 지출을 대규모로 줄인다
여기에는 보통 교육과 보건지출이 포함된다

사회복지와 통합력이 훼손되어
대중이 착취에 노출된다

민영화
국영기업을 민영화한다. 사회적으로 중요한 체제가
외국기업에게 팔리고 조종될 수 있다는 뜻이다

예를 들어 1999년 세계은행은 볼리비아 정부에게
세번째로 큰 도시의 공공 상하수도 체제를

미국 기업 벡텔의 자회사에 팔도록 했다

그러자마다 가난한 도시주민에게
수도요금이 치솟았다

사람들이 폭동을 일으킨 후에야
벡텔 계약이 무효가 되었다

 

무역자유화
그 다음 외국무역에 대한 규제를 없애서
무역자유화 또는 시장개방을 한다

이로 인해 수 많은 경제적 착취가 가능해진다
다국적 기업이 자신의 생산물을 들여와

토착 생산물을 잠식하고
지역 경제를 파탄낸다

자메이카가 좋은 보기다. 세계은행으로부터
차관을 받아들이고, 융자조건을 수락한 후

서구의 수입품과 경쟁하다가
가장 큰 환금작물시장을 잃었다

오늘날 수많은 농부들이 거대기업과
경쟁할 수 없어서 일자리를 잃었다

비슷한 사례는 눈에 띄지 않는 비인간적이고
규제를 받지 않는 수많은 과자공장을 만드는 것이다

경제적 어려움을 악용하는 것이다

추가적으로 규제완화와 환경파괴가 영구화되고
국가 자원은 엉뚱한 기업이 착취하며

고의적으로 엄청난 양의 오염물을 쏟아낸다

역사상 가장 큰 환경소송은
3만명의 에콰도르인과 아마존 사람들이

텍사코에 대해 제기한 소송입니다
텍사코는 지금 세브론이 소유하고 있기 때문에

세브론에 대한 소송이지만
텍사코가 한 짓 때문이죠

엑손 발데스가 알라스카 해안에
버린 것의 18배 이상으로 추정됩니다

에콰도르에서는 사고가 아니었죠
석유회사가 의도적으로 그랬습니다

적절한 조치를 하기 보다는
돈을 절약하기 위해 무슨 짓을 하는지 알았죠

더군다나 세계은행의 성과를 살펴보면
가난한 나라의 개발을 돕고

가난을 구제한다는 선전과 달리
가난과 빈부격차를 늘렸다는 것을 알 수 있다

기업이윤이 치솟는 반면
1960년대 세계 5개 부자나라와

5개 가난한 나라의 소득격차가 30:1이었다

1998년 74:1이었다

1970년에서 1985까지 전세계 GNP가 40% 올랐지만
가난한 나라에서는 17%만 올랐다

1985년에서 2000년까지 하루 1달러 미만으로
사는 사람이 18% 늘었다

그러면 무엇을 하나? 강력한 힘을 갖고 있는

그래서 회사는 사회와 상관이 없어진다

냉전과 소련의 붕괴로 미국의 경제적, 세계적
주도권이 보존되고 영속화되었다

종교도 비슷하게 본능에 대해서
사람들에게 죄책감을 느끼게 한다

유일한 용서와 구원의 길을 제공한다고 서로 주장한다

제도가 자기보존을 하려는 중심에 통화체제가 있다

돈이 권력과 생존을 위한 수단을 제공한다
그래서 가난한 사람은 살기 위해 훔치게 된다

기관이 이윤을 내기 위해
무슨 짓이든 하려는 것은 자연스러운 일이다

그래서 이윤기반의 기구가 기본적으로 바뀌기 힘들다

그래서 사람들은 공정할 수 없죠
사람들은 서로를 믿지 않죠

누가 당신에게 다가가서
당신이 찾는 집을 갖고 있습니다고 하면 판매원이죠

의사가 당신 콩팥을 떼내야 한다고 말하면
그가 요트를 받게 될지, 내 콩팥을 떼내야할지 모르죠

통화체제에서 사람들을 믿기 힘들죠

당신이 내 가게에 오면,
이 전등은 아주 좋아요

하지만 옆집의 전등이 더 좋다면?
내 가게는 곧 망하겠죠

통하지 않죠. 내가 도덕적이라도 통하지 않죠

산업에서 사람들을 신경쓴다는 말을 듣죠?
그것은 사실이 아닙니다. 그들은 도덕적일 수 없어요

당신 체제는 사람들의 복지에
도움을 주려고 만든 게 아닙니다

당신이 아직도 사람들을 생각해서
아웃소싱하지 않는다고 생각하더라도

산업은 신경쓰지 않아요
그들은 자동화가 안되었기 때문에 사람을 쓰는 거예요

공산주의 중국은 미국만큼 자본주의 국가다
차이점은 정부가 기업에 간섭하는 정도다

현실은 "돈숭배주의"이다
세상 모든 국가의 관심을 끄는 진정한 메카니즘이다

돈숭배주의의 가장 공격적이고 지배적인 형태가
자유시장체제이다

애덤 스미스같은 자유시장경제학자가
기본적인 관점을 설명한 것처럼

이기심과 경쟁이 사회번영을 이끈다
경쟁은 사람들이 자기보존하도록 동기를 준다

그러나 빠뜨린 것은 경쟁을 바탕으로 한 경제가
전략적 타락으로 유도하고

부의 집중을 강화하고, 사회계층을 나누고
기술발전을 막고, 노동을 착취하고

궁극적으로 부유한 엘리트가 은밀하게
독재정치를 하게 만든다

세계가 타락하는 것을 "도덕적 곡해"라고 한다

회사가 돈을 절약하기 위해
독성 폐기물을 바다에 버리면

사람들은 이것을 타락행위라고 생각한다

약간 미묘하게 월마트가 작은 마을로 옮겨서
작은 가게들이 경쟁을 못해 문을 닫게 되면

회색지대가 생긴다
월마트가 무슨 잘못을 했나?

그들이 왜 구멍가게에 대해 신경써야 하나?

더 미묘하게 새 기계가 발명되어
돈이 덜 들기 때문에 어떤 사람이 해고당한다

사람들은 이것을 어쩔 수 없는 거라고 받아들인다

그런 행동이 본질적으로 비인간적이라고 생각하지 않는다

그러나 독성폐기물을 버리는 것이나
독점사업체를 가지는 것, 노동력을 줄이는 것의 원인은 똑같다

이윤 때문이다!

자기보존 메칼니즘에서 정도가 다를 뿐이다
항상 사람보다 돈을 먼저 생각한다

그래서 부패는 돈숭배주의의 부산물이 아니고
바로 본질인 것이다

대부분이 어느 정도 이런 경향을 알지만
이기적 메카니즘이 사회운용원리로 생각할 정도로 순진하다

내부문서에 따르면 이 회사는

에이즈 바이러스에 감염된 약품을
갖고 있다는 것을 확실히 알고 있었습니다

회사는 미국 시장에서 약품을 회수해서
프랑스, 유럽, 아시아, 라틴 아메리카에 내다버렸습니다

미국 정부는 이것을 허용했습니다
FDA는 이것을 허락했고

이제 정부가 전혀 다르게 보입니다
죄없는 혈우병 환자 수천명이 에이즈로 죽었습니다

이 회사는 약품이 에이즈에
감염되었다는 것을 확실히 알고서도

이윤을 내기 위해
그것을 내다버렸습니다

뿌리깊은 부패 속에 있습니다
우리는 서로 끌질로 떼내야 합니다

그런 부패를 기대하면 안됩니다

 

나는 사람들이 누구를 뽑아야하는지 모른다고 생각합니다

사람들은 민주주의를 생각하지만
통화기반 경제에서 그것은 불가능합니다

당신이 출마했는데 자신을 선전할 돈이
더 많다면 그것은 민주주의가 아닙니다

마법처럼 등장하면 재밌는 일을 볼 수 있다

당신이 그것을 알기도 전에 아주 부유한 사람이

금융권력가들이 미리 결정한 사람들을 선택한다

하지만 민주주의의 환상을 알고 있는 사람들도

그러면 우리는 좋다고 한다
이런 생각은 기성세계관으로 보면 합리적으로 보이지만

또다른 오류에 빠지는 불행한 일이다

실제로 중요한 문제를 생각하면, 정치제도나 정치인들은
우리 사회를 제대로 만드는데 전혀 관계가 없기 때문이다

문제를 해결할 수 있는 것은 정치인이 아닙니다

그들은 기술적 능력이 없어요
어떻게 문제를 해결하는지 몰라요

설마 진정이라고 하더라도
문제를 해결할 방법을 몰라요

담수공장을 만드는 것은 기술자입니다
기술자가 전기를 줍니다

전기가 자동차를 줍니다
전기가 집을 데피고, 여름에 식힙니다

문제를 해결하는 것은 기술이지 정치가 아닙니다

정치인은 그런 훈련을 받지 않았기 때문에
문제를 해결할 수 없습니다

오늘날 아주 소수의 사람만이 사람들의 삶을
향상시킨 것이 무엇인지 생각한다

돈인가? 분명히 아니다
돈을 먹을 수도 없고, 돈이 차를 움직이게 할 수 없다

정치인인가? 모든 정치인들은 법률을 만들고
예산을 정하고, 선전포고를 할 수 있다

종교인가? 물론 아니다. 종교는 위안이 필요한 사람에게
위로를 주는 것 외에 아무 것도 만드는 게 없다

인간이 가진 진정한 재능은 기술이다
기술만이 우리 삶을 향상시킨 모든 것을 만들었다

기술은 무엇인가? 기술은 연필이다
의사소통을 위해 생각을 종이에 구체화한다

기술은 자동차다. 걷은 것보다
빨리 이동할 수 있도록 돕는다

기술은 안경이다. 필요한 사람에게 시력을 준다

응용기술은 인간의 능력을 확장하여

전화나 전자레인지, 컴퓨터,
비행기가 없는 것을 생각해 보라

돈, 정치, 종교가 아니다

이것들은 엉터리 제도이다

그래야 가격을 유지할 수 있습니다

희소성은 사회에 무슨 뜻인가?
자연적이든 인위적이든 기업이윤의 조건인가?

그것은 지속가능성과 풍요는
이윤체제에 맞지 않다는 뜻이다

자연의 구조에 역행하는 것이기 때문이다
그래서 전쟁이나 가난이 없는 세상이 불가능하다

기술을 효율적이고 생산적으로
계속 발전시키는 것이 불가능하다

그리고 가장 극적으로 인간이 진정
도덕적이고 품위있게 처신하는 것을 기대할 수 없다

 

인간 본성
인간 행태?

사람들은 행태를 설명하지 못하기 때문에
본능이라는 말을 씁니다

충분히 넉넉하게 공급하는 데에 자원과 기술을 쓰면

무엇을 팔 필요가 없다
마찬가지로 자동화와 기계화가

기술적으로 발전하여 인간을 노동에서 해방하면
직업을 가질 이유가 없다

사회가 이렇게 변하면
돈이 전혀 필요없다

그래서 궁극적 의문이 남는다
우리가 일을 하지 않고도 가격표 없이 모든 것을

이용할 정도로 풍요로운 사회를 만들기에 충분한
자원과 기술을 갖고 있나?

그렇다. 갖고 있다!

우리는 이것을 가능하게 할
최소한의 자원과 기술을 갖고 있다

이 능력으로 생활수준을 올려서
미래 사람들이 우리를 되돌아보면서

맙소사! 우리 사회가 얼마나 원시적이고

우리가 1/100을 쓸 수 있다면

전기자동차에 동력을 줄 전지기술이 필요한데
그 기술이 있고, 개발된지 오래되었다

그러나 전지특허를 석유회사가 갖고 있기 때문에
시장점유율을 유지하는 능력을 저해하고 있다

더구나 에너지 산업에서 정치권에 압력을 넣어
접근성과 이용성을 제한하고 있다

부패한 이윤동기 이외에는
다른 이유가 전혀 없다

그래서 전기로 움직이고, 아주 깨끗하고
기름을 전혀 먹지 않는 자동차가 한 대도 없는 것이다

비행기는 비효율적이고, 불편하고, 느리며
오염물질을 너무 많이 배출하는 여행수단임을 깨달을 때다

이것은 자기부상 열차다
추진력으로 자석을 쓴다

자기장으로 뜨고 비행기에 비해
2% 미만의 에너지만 쓴다

열차는 바퀴가 없어서 마모되지 않는다

일자리는 기술발전과 정면 충돌한다

산업계가 이윤을 우선하기 때문에
사람은 조금씩 기계로 교체된다

산업계는 노동시간을 줄이지 않고

그래서 법률은 사라진다

비올 때 미끄럼을 주의하라고 표시판을 세우는 것보다
비가 와도 미끄러지지 않는 마찰제를 고속도로에 뿌리는 게 낫죠

술에 취해 차를 타면
차가 많이 흔들립니다

작은 추가 있어서 심하게 흔들리면
차를 갓길에 세우면 되겠죠?

법률이 아니고 해결책이죠
소나와 레이다를 자동차에 설치하면

아이들이 영리할수록

우리 사회의 사회가치는 영구적인 전쟁, 부패,
억압적인 법률, 계급분화, 쓸데없는 미신, 환경파괴,

인간이 현실에 대해 기본적으로 가지는
두 가지 성찰을 무시하는

집단적 무지의 결과, 무자비한 이윤추구에만 빠진
지배계급의 독재로 현저하게 나타났다

무상(無常)과 공생
두 가지 성찰은 무상과 공생이다

무상은 지식, 사회 기술, 철학,
다른 모든 창조행위가 억압되지 않으면

영원히 변한다는 것이다

우리는 현대통신수단과 교통수단을 흔하게 생각하지만
고대에는 상상도 할 수 없는 것이다

마찬가지로 미래에는 현재의 우리가 상상할 수도 없는
기술, 현실화, 사회구조를 갖게 될 것이다

우리는 연금술을 화학으로 발전시켰고
지구중심적 우주에서 태양중심적 우주로 발전했으며

질병의 원인을 마귀라고 생각하다가
현대 의학에 이르렀다

이런 발전은 끝이 없다. 이것을 깨달으면
우리는 계속 성장하고 발전하는 길로 가게 된다

정적인 경험적 지식은 존재하지 않는다
우리가 깨달아야 하는 무상에 대한 인식이 존재한다

이것은 현재 신앙체제를 위협하여
우리 실체를 위협한다고 할지라도

우리가 새로운 정보에 항상
열린 마음을 가져야 한다는 뜻이다

슬프게도 오늘날 사회는
이것을 깨닫지 못하고 있고

기성제도는 낡은 사회구조를
지키기 위해 성장을 막고 있다

동시에 사람들은 변화의 두려움 때문에 고생한다

정적인 실체만 생각하고, 믿음체계에 도전하는 것을
모욕이나 위협으로 생각한다

잘못되는 것을 실패라고 착각하기 때문이다

잘못으로 드러나는 것은 축하받을 일인데도 말이다

실패를 통해 다른 사람들이 더 높은 이해,
더 높은 깨달음에 이르기 때문이다

머지않아 생각이 올라가고, 변하고, 뿌리내리기 때문에
사실 그 정도로 똑똑한 사람은 없다

믿음체계에 맹목적으로 집착하는 경향은
새롭게 변하는 정보로부터 멀어지게 하여

지적인 물질주의 형태가 된다
통화체제는 자기보존의 구조와

맹목적으로 이 구조를 떠받드는 수많은 사람들을 통해
이 물질주의를 영속화한다

그리하여 자청해서 현상태를 지키는 수호자가 된다
양은 더 이상 통제하는 보호견이 필요없다

양들은 규범에서 벗어난 양을 쫓아냄으로써
서로 통제하기 때문이다

정체성, 안락, 권력, 이윤을 위해서 변화에 저항하고,
기존 제도를 떠받들려 하는 경향은 계속되지 못할 것이고

더 큰 불균형, 분열, 왜곡,
필연적으로는 파괴만 만들어낼 것이다

 

변할 때다

사냥꾼과 채집자에서 농업혁명이 있었고
산업혁명이 있었다. 패턴은 분명하다

오늘날 우리가 가진 이해력을 반영할 수 있는
새로운 사회체제가 필요한 때다

통화체제는 희소성이 현실일 때의 산물이다

이제 기술의 시대에는 그것이 더 이상 사회와 관계가 없다

드러난 일탈행동과 함께 사라졌다

마찬가지로 사회와 같이 움직였던 유신론적 종교처럼
지배적인 세계관도 필요없다

이슬람, 기독교, 유대교, 힌두교,
그 외 모든 종교가 개인과 사회의 성장에 장애가 된다

각각의 종교는 닫힌 세계관을 영속화하기 때문이다

이처럼 유한한 이해는 무상의 우주에서 불가능하다

아직까지는 종교가 신도들에게 정신적인 왜곡을 주입하여
이런 무상을 깨닫지 못하도록 하는 데에 성공했다

낡은 믿음을 지키기 위해,
논리와 새 정보를 거부했다

신이라는 개념은 자연력을 설명하는 방법이죠
옛날에는 사람들이 사물이 어떻게 생기고,

자연이 어떻게 움직이는지 잘 몰랐죠
그래서 자신만의 이야기를 만든 거죠

자신의 모습대로 신을 만들었죠
신은 사람들이 올바로 처신하지 않으면 화를 냈죠

그는 홍수나 지진을 일으켰죠
사람들은 그것이 신이 한 것이라고 말하죠

감춰진 종교사를 대강 살펴보더라도
기본적인 신화가 시간을 지나면서 영향력이 커진 것을 알 수 있다

예를 들어 기독교 교리는
그리스도의 죽음과 부활이다

이 개념은 너무 중요하기 때문에
성서에서 "그리스도께서 만약 다시 살지 못하셨으면"

고리도전서 15장 14절
"우리의 전파하는 것도 헛것이요
또 너희 믿음도 헛것이며"라고 한다

문자 그대로 받아들이기 아주 힘들다

교회사에 있는 초자연적 사건을 기록한
1차사료가 없을 뿐만 아니라

기독교 이전에 수많은 구세주가 죽었다가
부활했다는 것을 알고 있기 때문이다

즉시 이 이야기는 연상되는
신화 영역에 들어가 버린다

토르툴리아누스같은 초기 교부들은
이런 연상을 못하도록 애썼다

심지어 마귀가 비슷한 일을
만들었다고 주장하기도 했다

2세기에 주장하기를, "마귀가 진실을 뒤바꾸기 위해
신의 거룩한 일을 똑같이 모방한다"

"마귀는 추종자들에게 세례를 주고
죄를 없애주겠다고 약속한다"

"마귀는 성찬식을 하며
부활의 상징을 가져온다" "그래서 우리는 신성한 일을 흉내낸
마귀의 솜씨를 인정한다"

그러나 정말 슬픈 일은 우리가 기독교, 유대교,
이슬람, 기타 종교의 말을 역사라고 생각하고

사실로 받아들인다는 점이다
그것은 여러 종교에서 파생된 순전히 비유적 표현이다

우리는 모든 종교가 같은 말을 하는 것을 안다
그것을 깨닫고 아는 것이 중요한 문제다

종교적 믿음은 어떤 이데올로기보다
분열과 갈등을 많이 낳는다

기독교에만 3만4천 파벌이 있다

성서는 해석하기 나름이죠
당신이 읽고서 예수의 생각은 이거야,

욥의 생각은 이거야라고 말하죠
아냐! 그의 생각은 이거야

전체로 합쳐져야만 존재하는 것이다

환경을 연결하는 플러그를 볼 수 없죠
그래서 우리가 자유롭게 돌아다니는 것 같이 보입니다

산소를 없애버리면
우리는 순식간에 죽습니다

식물을 없애버리면 우리는 죽습니다
태양이 없으면 모든 식물이 죽습니다

그래서 우리는 연결되어 있습니다

우리는 총체성을 생각해야만 합니다
이것은 인간의 경험만이 아닙니다

이것은 총체적인 경험입니다
우리는 식물과 동물이 없으면 살 수 없다는 것을 압니다

인간만이 아니라 식물과 동물, 원소들도 돌봐야 합니다

우리는 정말로 그것을 이해할 필요가 있습니다
그것이 우리에게 기쁨을 줄 것입니다

지금 우리 삶에서 빠진 부분이죠
우리는 그것을 영성이라고 할 수도 있지만

사실은 인연의 기쁨에서 오는 즐거움입니다

한편, 자유무역의 형태를 한 자유시장 자본주의는

국가가 한 줌의 거대기업과 정치권력에 복종하도록 조작한다

이렇게 명백하게 부도덕한 것과 별개로
체제 자체가 경쟁을 바탕으로 하여

공동이익을 위해 대규모 협력을 불가능하게 만든다

그래서 세계적 지속가능성을 마비시킨다

이런 금융 및 기업 구조는
이제 낧아서 극복해야만 한다

물론 우리는 기업과 금융의 엘리트가
이런 생각을 받아들일 거라고 생각하지 않는다

그들이 권력과 통제력을 잃을 것이기 때문이다
그래서 평화적이고 전략적인 행동을 해야 한다

가장 강력한 행동은 간단하다. 우리는 권력구조가
사람들의 의지에 따르도록 우리 행태를 바꾸어야 한다

우리는 체제를 떠받드는 것을 멈춰야 한다

기성제도를 바꾸는 유일한 길은
우리가 참여를 거부하는 것이다

그러면서 끊임없는 결점과 부패를
계속 인식하는 것이다

우리가 우리 설계안을 제안하더라도

지금은 인터넷이 진정한 구세주이기 때문에 우리는 항상 인터넷을 보호해야 한다

셋째, 여러분이나 여러분의 가족, 아는 사람
그 누구도 군대에 가지 않도록 하라

이제 군대는 낡은 기관이다
더 이상 중요하지 않는 기성제도를 지키는 데에만 이용된다

이라크에서 미국 병사들이

넷째, 에너지 회사를 지지하지 마라
연립주택에 산다면, 그리드를 없애라

여러분의 집을 깨끗한 에너지로 유지할 수 있도록
모든 수단을 알아 봐라

지금은 태양열, 바람, 기타 재생가능한 에너지를
소비자도 이용할 수 있다

비용이 더드는 전통적인 에너지를 절대로 생각하지 마라

시간이 지나면 훨씬 저렴한 투자가 될 것이다

운전을 한다면 가능한 작은 차를 타라

Society today,

 

is composed of a series of institutions.

 

From political institutions,

 

legal institutions,

 

religious institutions.

 

To institutions of social class,

 

familiar values,

 

and occupational specialization.

 

It is obvious, the profound influence
these traditionalized structures have

 

in shaping our understandings and perspectives.

 

Yet, of all the social institutions, we are born into,

 

directed by, and conditioned upon..

 

There seems to be no system as taken for granted,

 

and misunderstood,

 

as the monetary system.

 

Taking on nearly religious proportions,

 

the established monetary institution exists

 

as one of the most unquestioned forms of faith there is.

 

How money is created,

 

the policies by which it is governed,

 

and how it truly affects society,

 

are unregistered interests of
the great majority of the population.

 

In a world where 1% of the population
owns 40% of the planets wealth.

 

In a world where 34.000 children die every single day

 

from poverty and preventable diseases,

 

and, where 50% of the world's population
lives on less than 2 dollars a day...

 

One thing is clear.

 

Something is very wrong.

 

And, whether we are aware of it or not,

 

the lifeblood of all of our established institutions,

 

and thus society itself,

 

is money.

 

Therefore, understanding this
institution of monetary policy

 

is critical to understanding why
our lives are the way they are.

 

Unfortunately, economics is often
viewed with confusion and boredom

 

Endless streams of financial jargon,
coupled with intimidating mathematics,

 

quickly deters people from attempts at understanding it.

 

However, the fact is:

 

The complexity associated with the
financial system is a mere mask.

 

Designed to conceal one of the
most socially paralyzing structures,

 

humanity has ever endured.

 

None are more hopelessly enslaved than
those who falsely believe they are free.

A number of years ago, the central bank
of the United States, the Federal Reserve,

 

produced a document entitled
"Modern Money Mechanics".

 

This publication detailed the
institutionalized practice of money creation

 

as utilized by the federal reserve and the
web of global commercial banks it supports.

 

On the opening page the document states its objective.

 

The purpose of this booklet is to describe
the basic process of money creation

 

in a fractional reserve banking system.

 

It then precedes to describe this fractional reserve process

 

through various banking terminology.

 

A translation of which goes something like this.

 

The united states government decides it needs some money.

 

So it calls up the federal reserve
and requests say 10 billion dollars.

 

The FED replies saying: "sure, we'll buy ten
billion in government bonds from you".

 

So the government takes some pieces of paper,

 

paints some official looking designs on them,

 

and calls them treasury bonds.

 

Then it puts a value on these bonds
to the sum of 10 billion dollars

 

and sends them over to the FED.

 

In turn the people of the FED drop a bunch
of impressive pieces of papers themselves.

 

Only this time, calling them federal reserve notes.

 

Also designating a value of ten billion dollars to the set

 

The FED than takes these notes and
trades them for the bonds.

 

Once this exchange is complete,

 

the government than takes the
ten billion in federal reserve notes,

 

and deposits it into an bank account.

 

And, upon this deposit the paper notes
officially become legal tender money.

 

Adding ten billion to the US money supply.

 

And there it is!
Ten billion in new money has been created.

 

Of course, this example is a generalization.

 

For, in reality, this transaction would occur electronically.

 

With no paper used at all.

 

In fact, only three percent of US
money supply exists in physical currency.

 

The other 97 percent essentially exists in computers alone.

 

Now, government bonds are
by design instruments of debt.

 

And when the FED purchases these bonds

 

with money it essentially created out of thin air,

 

the government is actually promising to pay back

 

that money to the FED.

 

In other words, the money was created out of debt.

 

This mind numbing paradox,
of how money or value

 

can be created out of debt,

 

or a liability, will become more clear

 

as we further this exercise.

 

So, the exchange has been made.

 

And now, ten billion dollars sits
in a commercial bank account.

 

Here is where it gets really interesting.

 

For, as based on the fractional reserve practice,

 

that ten billion dollar deposit

 

instantly becomes part of the banks reserves.

 

Just as all deposits do.

 

And, regarding reserve requirements

 

as stated in " Modern Money Mechanics":

 

"A bank must maintain legally required reserves

 

equal to a prescribed percentage of its deposits".

 

It then quantifies this by stating:

 

"Under current regulations,

 

the reserve requirement against most
transaction accounts is ten percent?

 

This means that with a ten billion dollar deposit,

 

ten percent, or one billion,

 

is held as the required reserve.

 

While the other nine billion is
considered an excessive reserve,

 

and can be used as the basis

 

for new loans.

 

Now, it is logical to assume, that this nine billion

 

is literally coming out of the
existing ten billion dollar deposit.

 

However, this is actually not the case.

 

What really happens, is that the nine billion

 

is simply created out of thin air

 

on top of the existing 10 billion dollar deposit.

 

This is how the money supply is expanded.

 

As stated in "Modern Money Mechanics":

 

"Of course they" the banks,

 

"do not really pay out loans for the money, they receive as deposits.

 

If they did this, no additional money would be created.

 

What they do when they make loans

 

is to accept promissory notes

 

- loan contracts

 

in exchange for credits - money

 

to the borrowers transaction accounts.

 

In other words, the nine billion
can be created out of nothing.

 

Simply because there is a demand for such a loan,

 

and that there is a 10 billion dollar
deposit to satisfy the reserve requirements.

 

Now let's assume that somebody
walks into this bank and

 

borrows the newly available nine billion dollars.

 

They will then most likely
take that money and deposit it

 

into their own bank account.

 

The process then repeats.

 

For that deposit becomes part of the banks reserves.

 

Ten percent is isolated and in
turn 90 percent of the nine billion,

 

or 8.1 billion is now availlable as
newly created money for more loans.

 

And, of course, that 8.1 can be loaned out
and redeposited creating an additional 7.2 billion

 

to 6.5 billion... to 5.9 billion... etc...

 

This deposit money creation loan
cycle can technically go on to infinity.

 

The average mathematical result is that about 90 billion
dollars can be created on top of the original 10 billion.

 

In other words:

 

For every deposit that ever occurs in the banking system,
about nine times that amount can be created out of thin air.

 

Money-Jitters. Ask the obliging Bank of America for a jar of

 

soothing instant money.

 

M-O-N-E-Y in the form of a convenient personal loan.

 

So, now that we understand how money is
created by this fractional reserve banking system.

 

A logical yet illusive question might come to mind:

 

What is actually giving this newly created money value?

 

The answer: the money that already exists.

 

The new money essentially steals
value from the existing money supply.

 

For the total pool of money is being increased
irrespective to demand for goods and services.

 

And, as supply and demand defines equilibrium,

 

prices rise, diminishing the purchasing
power of each individual dollar.

 

This is generally referred to as inflation.

 

And inflation is essentially a hidden tax on the public.

 

What is the advice that you generally get?
That is, inflate the currency.

 

They don't say: debase the currency.
They don't say: devalue the currency.

 

They don't say: Cheat the people who are safe,
they say lower the interest rates.

 

The real deception is when
we distort the value of money.

 

When we create money out of thin air,
we have no savings. Yet there is so called "capital".

 

So, my question boils down to this: How in the
world can we expect to solve the problems of inflation.

 

That is: increase in the supply of money, with more inflation.

 

Of course it can't.

 

The fractional reserve system of
monetary expansion is inherently inflationary.

 

For the act of expanding the money
supply, without there being a

 

proportional expansion of goods and services in the economy,

 

will always debase a currency.

 

In fact, the quick glance of the
historical values of the US dollar,

 

versus the money supply,

 

reflects this point of definitively.

 

For inverse relationship is obvious.

 

One dollar in 1913 required $21.60 in 2007 to match value.

 

That is a 96 percent devaluation since
the Federal Reserve came into existence.

 

Now, if this reality of inherent and perpetual
inflation seems absurd and economically self defeating.

 

Hold that thought. For absurdity is an understatement
in regard to how our financial system really operates.

 

For in our financial system money is debt,

 

and debt is money.

 

Here is a chart of the US money supply from 1950 to 2006.

 

Here is a chart to the US national debt for the same period.

 

How interesting it is, that the
trends, are virtually the same.

 

For the more money there is the more debt there is.

 

The more debt there is the more money there is.

 

To put it a different way.
Every single dollar in your wallet

 

is owed to somebody by somebody.

 

For remember: the only way the money
can come in to existence is from loans.

 

Therefore, if everyone in the country were
able to pay off all debts including the government,

 

there would not be one dollar in circulation.

 

"If there were no debts in our money
system, there wouldn't be any money."

In fact, the last time in American history
the national debt was completely paid off

 

was in 1835 after president Andrew Jackson shut
down the central bank that preceded the Federal Reserve.

 

In fact, Jackson's entire political
platform essentially revolved

 

around his commitment to shut down the central bank.

 

Stating that one point:

 

"The bold efforts the present bank
has made to control the government...

 

are but premonitions of the fate
that awaits the American people

 

should they be deluded into
a perpetuation of this institution

 

or, the establishment of another like it."

 

Unfortunately this message was short lived.

 

And the international bankers succeeded
to install another central bank in 1913,

 

the Federal Reserve. And as long as this institution exists

 

perpetual debt is guaranteed.

 

Now, so far we have discussed the reality
that money is created out of debt through loans.

 

These loans are based on a banks reserves,

 

and reserves are derived from deposits.
And through this fractional reserve system,

 

any one deposit can create 9 times its original value.

 

In turn, debasing the existing
money supply raising prices in society.

 

And, since all this money is created out of debt,

 

and circulated randomly through commerce,

 

people become detached from their original debt.

 

And a disequilibrium exists where
people are forced to compete for labor

 

in order to pull enough money out of the money supply

 

to cover their costs of living.

 

As dysfunctional and backwards
as all of this might seem,

 

there is still one thing we
have omitted from this equation.

 

And it is this element of the structure

 

which reveals the truly fraudulent
nature of the system itself.

 

The application of interest.

 

When the government borrows money from the FED,

 

or when a person borrows money from a bank,

 

it almost always has to be payed
back with a crude interest.

 

In other words,

 

almost every single dollar that exists

 

must be eventually returned to a
bank with interest payed as well.

 

But,

 

if all money is borrowed from the Central Bank,

 

and is expanded by commercial banks through loans,

 

only what would be refered to as the "principal"

 

is been created in the money supply.

 

So then, where is the money to cover
all of the interest that is charged?

 

Nowhere.

 

It doesn't exist.

 

The ramifications of this are staggering.

 

For the amount of money owed back to the banks

 

will always exceed the amount of
money that is available in circulation.

 

This is why inflation is a constant in the economy.

 

For new money is always needed to help
cover the perpetual deficit build in to the system.

 

Caused by the need to pay the interest.

 

What this also means, is that
mathematically the defaults and bankruptcy

 

are literally built into the system.

 

And there will always be poor pockets of
society that get the short end of the stick.

 

An analogy would be a game of musical chairs:

 

For the once music stops, somebody is left out to dry.

 

And that is the point.

 

It invariably transfers true wealth
for the individual to the banks.

 

For, if you are unable to pay for your
mortgage, they will take your property.

 

This is particularly enraging when you realize,
that not only is such a default inevitable

 

due to the fractional reserve
practice. But, also because of the fact

 

that the money that the bank loaned to you

 

didn't even legally exist in the first place.

 

In 1969 there was a Minnesota court
case involving a man named Jerome Daly

 

who was challenging the foreclosure of his home
by the bank, which provided the loan to purchase it.

 

His argument was that the mortgage
contract required both parties,

 

being he and the bank, each put up a
legitimate form of property for the exchange.

 

In legal language this is called

 

cosideration [a contract's basis.
a contract is founded on an exchange
of one form of consideration for another.]

 

Mr. Daly explained that the money
was, in fact, not the property of the bank.

 

For it was created out of nothing as
soon as the loan agreement was signed.

 

Remember what "Modern Money Mechanics"
stated about loans?

 

What they do, when they make loans, is to
accept promissory notes in exchange for credits.

 

Reserves are unchanged by the loan transactions.

 

But, deposit credits constitute new additions
to the total deposits of the banking system.

 

In other words, the money doesn't
come out of their existing assets.

 

The bank is simply inventing it,
putting up nothing of it's own,

 

except for a theoratical liability on paper.

 

As the court case progressed, the bank's
president Mr. Morgan took the stand.

 

And in the judge's personal memorandum,
he recalled that the Plaintiff - banks president -

 

admitted that, in combination with the
Federal Reserve Bank, did create the money

 

and credits upon its books by bookkeeping entry.

 

The money and credit first came into existence
when they created it. Mr. Morgan admitted that

 

no United States Law or Statute existed
which gave him the right to do this.

 

A lawful consideration must exist
and be tendered to support the Note.

 

The Jury found that there was
no lawful consideration, and I agree.

 

He also poetically added, "Only God can
create something of value out of nothing".

 

And, upon this revelation the court rejected the
bank's claim for foreclosure, and Daly kept his home.

 

The implications of this court decision are immense.

 

For every time you borrow money from a bank,
whether it is a mortgage loan or a credit card charge,

 

the money given to you is not only counterfeit,
it is a illegitimate form of consideration.

 

And hence, voids the contract to repay. For the
bank never had the money as property to begin with.

 

Unfortunately such legal realizations
are suppressed and ignored.

 

And the game of perpetual wealth
transfer and perpetual debt continues.

 

And this brings us to the ultimate question:

 

Why?

 

During the American Civil War President
Lincoln bypassed the high interest loans

 

offered by the European banks, and decided
to do what the founding fathers advocated.

 

Which was to create an independent
and inherently debt-free currency.

 

It was called "The Greenback".

 

Shortly after this measure was taken, an internal document

 

circulated between private British
and American banking interests, stated:

 

"Slavery is but the owning of labor and
carries with it the care of the laborers,

 

while the European plan..is that capital
shall control labor by controlling wages."

 

This can be done by controlling the money.

 

It will not do to allow the Greenback...
as we cannot control that.

 

The fractional reserve policy,

 

perpetrated by the Federal Reserve

 

which has spread in practice to the
great majority of banks in the world,

 

is in fact a system of modern slavery.

 

Think about it, money is created out of debt.

 

What the people do when they are in debt?

 

They submit to employment to pay it off.

 

But if money only can only be created out of loans,

 

how can society ever be debt free?

 

It cant, and that's the point.

 

And it is the fear of losing assets,
coupled with the struggle to keep up,

 

with the perpetual debt and
inflation inherent in the system

 

compounded by the inescapable scarcity,
within in the money supply itself,

 

created by the interest that can never be re-payed.

 

that keeps the wage-slave in line

 

Running on a hamster wheel, with millions of others.

 

In effect, powering an empire

 

that truly benefits only the
elite at the top of the pyramid.

 

For, at the end of the day,

 

who are you really working for?

 

The Banks !

 

Money is created in the bank,
and invariably ends up in a bank.

 

They are the true masters, along with the
corporations and governments they support.

 

Physical slavery requires
people to be housed and fed.

 

Economic slavery requires people
to feed and house themselves.

 

It is one of the most ingenious scams
for social manipulation ever created.

 

And at its core,

 

it is an invisible war against the population.

 

Debt is the weapon used to conquer and enslave societies,

 

and interest is its prime ammunition.

 

And, as the majority walks
around oblivious to this reality,

 

the banks in collusion with
governments and corporations

 

continued to perfect and expand
their tactics of economic warfare

 

Spawning new bases,

 

such as the World Bank

 

and International Monetary Fund [IMF],

 

while also inventing a new type of soldier.

 

The birth of the economic hitman.

 

There are two ways to conquer and enslave
a nation. One is by sword. The other is by debt.

We economic hitmen really have been the ones
responsible for creating this first truly global empire.

 

And we work many different ways.

 

But, perhaps the most common is that we will
identify a country that has resources, like oil.

 

And then, arrange a huge loan to that country
from the World Bank or one of it's sister organizations.

 

But the money never actually goes to that country.

 

Instead it goes to our big corporations to
build infrastructure projects in that country.

 

Power plants, Industrial parks, Ports...

 

Things that benefit a few rich people in that country.

 

In addition our Corporations.

 

But really dont have the majority to
people that all. How ever, those people

 

the whole country is left holding the huge debt.

 

It's such a big debt they can't repay,
and that's the part of the plan...

 

They can't repay it !

 

And so, in some point, we economic hitman,
go back to them and say "Listen"

 

"You lost a lot of Money. Can't pay your Debt. So..."

 

"Sell your oil "

 

"Real cheap to our oil companies"

 

"Allow us to build a Military Base in your Country..."

 

"Send troops and support one of our's,
to some place in the world like..."

 

"Iraq or vote with us on the next U.N."

 

Vote, to have their electric
utility company privatized

 

and their water and sewing system
privatized and sold to US corporations or other

 

multinational corporations.

 

So there is a whole mushrooming thing, and it's
so typical, the way the IMF and the World Bank work.

 

They put a country in debt, and it's
such a big debt they can't repay it!

 

And then they offer to refinance that
debt, and pay them more interest

 

And you demand...

 

this "quid pro quo" what you call
a conditionality or good governance

 

which means basically, that they
got to sell off their resources,

 

including many of their social
services, their utility companies..

 

their school systems sometimes,

 

their penal systems,

 

their insurance systems... to foreign corporations.

 

So it's a double - triple - quadruple whammie!

 

The preceptive for a Economic Hitman
really began back in the early 50's

 

when democratically elected "Mossadegh"

 

who was elected in Iran...

 

He was considered to be "The hope for Democracy"

 

in the middle east or around the world. He
was in Time-Magazine's man of the year. But...

 

one of the things that he brought on
and end the implement was the idea that

 

foreign oil companies needed to pay the Iranian people
a lot more for the oil, that they were taking out of Iran

 

and the Iranian people should benefit
from their own oil. - Strange policy -

 

we didn't like that of course, but we were afraid to do
what we normally were doing, which was to send in the military

 

instead we sent in one CIA agent, Kermit
Roosevelt, Teddy Roosevelt큦 relative.

 

And Kermit went in with a few million
dollars, and was very very effective

 

and efficient and in a short amount of time,
he managed to get Mossadeg overthrown,

 

and brought in the Shah of Iran to replace
them, who always was favorable to oil,

 

and it was extremely effective.

 

Revolt in Iran

{\i1}Army officers shout that Mossadeg has surrendered
and his regime as virtual dictator of Iran has ended.{\i}

 

{\i1}Pictures of the Shah are paraded through
the streets as sentiment reverses.{\i}

 

{\i1}The Shah is welcomed home.{\i}

 

So back here in the United States, in Washington, people
looked around and said "wow, that was easy and cheap".

 

So this established the whole new way,
of manipulating countries, of creating empire

 

the only problem with Roosevelt was
that he was a card carrying CIA agent

 

and if he'd been caught, the ratifications could have been pretty
serious, so very quickly at that point, the decision was made,

 

to use private consultants to channel the money through
the world bank or the IMF or one of the other such agencies

 

to bring in people like me, who work for private companies

 

so that if we got caught, it would
be no govermental ramifications.

 

when Arbenz became president of Guatemala, the country
was very much under the thumbs of United Fruit company

 

The big international cooperations and Arbenz ran on this
ticket that said: "We want to give the land back to the people".

 

And once he took power he was implementing
policies that would do exactly that

 

give the land rights back to the people.

 

"United Fruit" didn't like that very much,

 

and so they hired a public relations firm

 

watch the huge campaign in the United States

 

to convince the United States, the people...the citizens
of the United States, the press of the United States

 

and the congress of the United States,
that Arbenz was a soviet puppet.

 

And that if we allowed him to stay in power the
Soviets would have a foot hole in this hemisphere.

 

And at that point in time there was a huge fear on
everybody's mind, of the Red terror, the Communist terror.

 

And so, to make a long story short,
out of this public relations campaign

 

came a commitment on the part of the
CIA and the military to take this man out.

 

And in fact, we did! We sent in planes,
we sent in soldiers, we sent in jackals,

 

we sent everything in to take him out.
And did take him out

 

and as soon as he was removed from office,

 

the new guy, that took over after him basically
reinstated everything to the big international corporations.

 

Including United Fruit.

 

Ecuador, for many many years had
been ruled by Pro-US-Dictators

 

they often relatively brutal. Then it was
decided to have a truely democratic ellection.

 

Jaime Roldos ran for offence and his
main goal , he said, as president would be...

 

... to make sure that Ecuador's
resources were used to help the people.

 

And he won! Overwhelming.

 

By more votes than anybody had
ever won anything in Ecuador.

 

And he began to implement these policies.

 

To make sure that the profits
from Oil whant to help the people.

 

Well... We didn't like that in the United States.

 

I was send down as one of several
Economic Hitman to change Roldos.

 

To corrupt him. To bring him around...
to let him know... you know.

 

"OK, You can get very rich, if you
and your family play our game."

 

"But if you continue to try to keep these
policys you promised... ah... You gonna go!"

 

He wouldn't listen...

 

He was assassinated.

 

As soon as the plane crashed,
the whole area was cordoned off.

 

The only people allowed in were
US military from a nearby base,

 

and some of the Ecuadorian military.

 

When an investigation was launched,

 

two of the key witnesses died in car accidents
before they had a chance to testify.

 

A lot of very very strange things that went on
around the assassination of Jaime Roldos.

 

I like most people who뭭e really looked at this case
have absolutely no doubt that it was an assassination.

 

And of course in my position as an economic hitman
I was obviously expecting something to happen to Jaime,

 

whether it be a coup or assassination I wasn뭪 sure,

 

but that he would be taken down
because he was was not being corrupted,

 

he would not allow himself to be corrupted
the way we wanted to corrupt him.

 

Omar Torrijos, president of Panama was,
you know, one of my favorite people.

 

I really, really liked him. He was very charismatic.
He was a guy who really wanted to help his country.

 

And when I tried to bribe him or corrupt
him he said 멛ook John뀙He called my Juanito.

 

Look Juanito, I don뭪 need the money.

 

What I really need is for my country to be treated fairly.

 

I need for the United States to repay the debts that
you owe my people for all the destruction you뭭e done here.

 

I need to be in a position where I can help other
Latin American countries win their independence,

 

and be free of this terrible presence from
the north. You people are exploiting us so badly.

 

I need to have the Panama canal back
in the hands of the Panamanian people.

 

That뭩 what I want. And so,
leave me alone, don뭪 try to bribe me.

 

It was 1981 and in May,
Jaime Roldos was assassinated.

 

And Omar was very aware of this.

 

Torrijos got his family together
and said 멗뭢 probably next,

 

but it뭩 Okay because I뭭e
done what I came here to do.

 

I뭭e renegotiated the canal.
The canal will now be in our hands.

 

He뭗 just finished negotiating the
treaty with Jimmy Carter.

 

In June of that same year, just a couple of months later,

 

he also went down in an airplane crash.

 

Which there is no question, was
executed by CIA sponsored jackals.

 

A tremendous amount of evidence
that one of Torijjos?security guards

 

handed him at the last moment as he
was getting on the plane a tape recorder.

 

A small tape recorder that contained a bomb.

 

It is interesting to me how this system has continued
pretty much the same way for years and years and years,

 

except the economic hit men have
gotten better and better and better.

 

Then we come up with very recently
what happened in Venezuela.

 

In 1998, Hugo Chavez gets elected president,

 

following a long line of presidents group been very
corrupt and basically destroyed the economy of the country.

 

And Chavez was elected amidst all that.
Chavez stood up to the United States,

 

and he뭗 done it primarily by demanding that
Venezuelan oil be used to help the Venezuelan people.

 

Well?we didn뭪 like that in the United States.

 

So in 2002, a coup was staged which
was no question in my mind,

 

in most other peoples minds,
that the CIA was behind that coup.

 

The way that that coup was fomented was very
reflective of what Kermit Roosevelt had done in Iran.

 

Of paying people to go out into the streets, to riot,
to protest, to say that Chavez was very unpopular.

 

You know, if you can get a few
thousand people to do that,

 

Television can make it look like it뭩 the
whole country and things start to mushroom.

 

Except in the case of Chavez, he was smart enough and
the people were so strongly behind him that they overcame it.

 

Which was a phenomenal moment
in the history of Latin America.

 

Iraq actually is a perfect example of
the way the whole system works.

 

We economic hitmen are the first line of defense.

 

We go in, we try to corrupt governments and get them to try
to accept these huge loans which we then use as leverage,

 

to basically own them.

 

If we fail, as I failed in Panama with Omar Torrijos,

 

and Ecuador with Jaime Roldos,
men who refused to be corrupted,

 

then the second line of defense is we send in the jackals.

 

And the jackals either overthrow
governments or they assassinate.

 

And once that happens then a
new government comes in and boy

 

it뭩 gonna toe the line because the new
president knows what will happen if he doesn뭪.

 

In the case of Iraq, both of those things failed.

 

The economic hitmen were not able
to get through to Saddam Hussein.

 

We tried very hard.

 

We tried to get him to accept a deal very similar to
what the House of Saud had accepted in Saudi Arabia,

 

but he wouldn뭪 accept it.

 

And so the jackals went in to take him out.
They couldn뭪 do it.

 

His security was very good.

 

After all, he at one time had worked for the CIA.

 

He뭗 been hired to assassinate the
former president of Iraq, and failed,

 

but he knew the system.

 

So in ?1 we send in the troops and
we take out the Iraqi military.

 

So we assume at that point that Saddam Hussein is gonna come around.

 

We could have taken him out, of course,

 

at that time, but we didn뭪 want to.

 

He뭩 the kind of strong man we like.

 

He controls his people.

 

We thought he could control the Kurds,

 

keep the Iranians in their border,
and keep pumping oil for us.

 

And that once we took out his military,
now he뭩 gonna come around.

 

So the economic hitmen go back in
in the 90뭩 without success.

 

If they뭗 had success he뭗
still be running the country.

 

We뭗 be selling him all the fighter jets he wants,

 

and everything else he wants,
but they couldn뭪, they didn뭪 have success.

 

The jackals couldn뭪 take him out again,
so we sent the military in once again and

 

this time we did the complete job and took him out.

 

And in the process created for ourselves
some very very lucrative construction deals?

 

had to reconstruct a country that
we뭗 essentially just destroyed.

 

Which is a pretty good deal if you
own a construction companies, big ones.

 

So Iraq shows the three stages.
The economic hitmen failed there.

 

The jackals failed there. And as a
final measure the military goes in.

 

And in that way we뭭e really created an empire,

 

but we뭭e done it very very subtly.
It뭩 clandestine.

 

All empires of the past were built on the military,
and everybody knew they were building them.

 

The British knew they were building them, the French, the Germans,

 

the Romans, the Greeks?and they were proud of it.

 

They always had some excuse like spreading
civilization, spreading some religion,

 

something like that, but they knew
they were doing it. We don뭪.

 

The majority of the people in the United States have no idea
that we뭨e living off the benefits of the clandestine empire.

 

That today there is more slavery
in the world than ever before.

 

Then you have to ask yourself, well?if it뭩 an empire,

 

then who is the emperor?

 

Obviously our presidents of the
United States are not emperors.

 

An emperor is someone who is not elected,

 

doesn뭪 serve a limited term,

 

and doesn뭪 report to anyone, essentially.

 

So you can뭪 classify our presidents that way.

 

But we do have what I consider to
be the equivalent of the emperor,

 

and it뭩 what I call the Corporatocracy.

 

The Corporatocracy is this group of
individuals who run our biggest corporations.

 

And they really act as the emperor of this empire.

 

They control our media, either through
direct ownership or advertising.

 

They control most of our politicians
because the finance their campaigns,

 

either through the corporations or through personal
contributions that come out of the the corporations.

 

They뭨e not elected, then don뭪 serve a
limited term, they don뭪 report to anybody,

 

and at the very top of the Corporatocracy
you really can뭪 tell whether

 

the person is working for a private corporation or the
government because their always moving back and forth.

 

So you뭭e got a guy who is one moment is the
president of a big construction company like Haliburton,

 

and the next moment he뭩
Vice President of the United States.

 

Or the President who was in the oil business.

 

And this is true whether you get
Democrats or Republicans in the office.

 

You have this moving back and forth,
through the revolving door.

 

And in a way, our government
is invisible a lot of the time,

 

and policies are carried out by our
corporations on one level or another.

 

And then again, the policies of the government
are basically forged by the Corporatocracy,

 

and then presented to the government
and they become government policy.

 

So, there is an incredibly cozy relationship.

 

This isn뭪 a conspiracy theory type of thing.

 

These people don뭪 have to get
together an plot to do things.

 

They all basically work under one primary assumption,

 

and that is that they must maximize profits
regardless of the social and environmental costs.

 

This process of manipulation by the corporatocracy

 

through the use of debt, bribery
and political overthrow is called:

 

Globalization

 

Just as the Federal Reserve keeps
the american public in a postion

 

of indentured servetude, though
perpetual debt, inflation and interest

 

the Worldbank and IMF serve
this role on a global scale.

 

The basic scam is simple:

 

Put a country in debt you
divide is own in disgression

 

- or through corrupting
the leader of that country -

 

than impose "conditionalities" or
"structual adjustment policies"

 

often consisting of the following:

 

Currency devaluation

 

When the value of a currency drops,
so does everything valued in it.

 

This makes indigenes resources
available to predator countries

 

at a fraction of their worth.

 

Large funding cuts for social programs,

 

these usually include education and healthcare,

 

compromising the well-being and integrity
of the society leaving the public vulnerable

 

to exploitation.

 

Privatization of state-owned enterprises.

 

This means that socially important
systems can be purchased and regulated

 

by foreign corporations for profit.

 

For example in 1999 the Worldbank
insisted that the bolivian government sell

 

the public watersystem of it's third-largest
city to a subsidy of the US-corporation "Bechtel".

 

As soon as this occured waterbills for
the allready impoverished local residents

 

skyrocketed.

 

It wasn't until after full-blown revolt by the
people that the Bechtel-contract was nullified.

 

Then there is trade liberalization

 

or the opening up of the economy through
removing any restrictions on foreign trade.

 

This allows for a number of
abusive economic manifestations,

 

such as transnational corporations
bringing in their own mass-produced products

 

undercutting the indigenes production
and ruining local economies.

 

An example is Jamaica,

 

which after accepting loans and
conditionalities from the Worldbank

 

lost it's largest cash crop markets
due to competition with western imports.

 

Today countless farmers are out of
work for they're unable to compete

 

with the large corporations.

 

Another variation is the creation of numerous,
seemingly unnoticed, unregulated, inhuman

 

sweetshop-factorys, which take advantage
of the imposed economic hardship.

 

Additionally, due to production-deregulation,
environmental destruction is perpetual

 

as a country's resources are often
exploited by the indifferent corporations

 

while outputting large amounts of deliberate pollution.

 

The largest environmental lawsuit
in the history of the world,

 

today is being brought on behalf of 30,000
Ecuadorian and Amazonian people against

 

Texaco, which is now owned by Chevron so it's
against Chevron, but for activities conducted by Texaco.

 

They're estimated to be more than 18 times what
the Exxon Valdez dumped into the Coast of Alaska.

 

In the case of Ecuador it wasn뭪 an accident.
The oil companies did it intentionally;

 

they knew they were doing it to save
money rather than arranging for proper disposal.

 

Furthermore, a cursory glance at the performance record of the
World Bank reveals that the institution, which publicly claims to

 

help poor countries develop and alleviate poverty, has
done nothing but increase poverty and the wealth-gap.

 

while Corporate profits soar.

 

In 1960 the income-gap between the fifth of
the world's people and the richest countries,

 

versus the fifth in the poorest countries was thirty to one.

 

By 1998, it was seventy-four to one.

 

While global GNP rose 40% between 1970 and 1985,
those in poverty actually increased, by 17%.

 

While from 1985 to 2000, those living on
less than one dollar a day increased by 18%

 

Even the Joint Economic Committee
of the U.S. Congress admitted

 

that there is a mere 40% success
rate of all World Bank projects.

 

In the late 1960's, the World Bank
intervened in Ecuador with large loans.

 

During the next 30 years,
poverty grew from 50% to 70%.

 

Under or unemployment grew from 15% to 70%.
Public debt increased from 240 million to 16 billion,

 

while the share of resources allocated
to the poor went from 20% to 6%

 

In fact, by the year 2000, 50% of Ecuador's national
budget had to be allocated for paying its debts.

 

It is important to understand: the World Bank is,
in fact, a U.S. bank, supporting U.S. interests.

 

For the United States holds veto-power over
decisions, as it is the largest provider of capital.

 

And where did it get this money? You guessed it: it made it
out of thin air through the fractional reserve banking system.

 

Of the world's top 100 economies, as based on annual GDP,
51 are corporations. And 47 of that 51 are U.S.-based.

 

Walmart, General Motors, and Exxon,
are more economically powerful than

 

Saudi Arabia, Poland, Norway, South Africa,
Finland, Indonesia, and many others.

 

And, as protective trade-barriers are
broken down, currencies tossed together and

 

manipulated in floating markets,
and State economies overturned

 

in favor of competition in global capitalism,
the empire expands.

 

You get up on your little 21 inch screen and
howl about America and democracy.

 

There is no America,
there is no democracy.

 

There is only IBM, and ITT, and AT&T,
and DuPont, Dow, Union Carbine, and Exxon.

 

Those are the nations of the world today.

The Taliban rose to power, and by 2000 they
had destroyed most of the opium fields.

 

Production dropped from 3.000+ tons
to only 185 tons, a 94% reduction.

 

On Sept. 9th 2001, the full Afghanistan

Today, opium productions in US controlled Afghanistan,

 

which now provides more than 90% of the world's heroin,

rooted in the need for money, or profit.

And so if a man makes money selling a certain product,

another product that may threaten his institution.

 

Therefore, people cannot be fair.

 

And people do not trust each other.

 

A guy will come over to you and say 멗뭭e got

When a doctor says 멗 think
your kidney has to come out?

 

I don뭪 know if he뭩 trying to pay off a
yacht or that my kidney has to come out.

 

It뭩 hard in a monetary system to trust people.

 

If you came into my store and I said

but the lamp next door is much better?

So when you say industry cares for people?

They can뭪 afford to be ethical.

 

So your system is not designed

They only hire people because

It is an interesting observation to note
how seemingly unknown personalities

 

magically appear on the scene as presidential candidates.

 

Then before you know it, somehow you are
left to choose from a small group of

 

extremely wealthy people who suspiciously
have the same broad social view.

 

Obviously it뭩 a joke.

 

The people placed on the ballot are done so

 

because they have been pre-decided to be acceptable by
the established financial powers who actually run the show.

 

Yet many who understand this illusion of democracy,

 

often think 멗f only we could just get
our honest, ethical politicians in power,

 

뭪hen we would be okay. Well, while this idea of course
seems reasonable in our established oriented world view,

 

it is unfortunately another fallacy.

 

For when it really comes down
to what is actually important,

 

the institution of politics and thus politicians themselves,

 

have absolutely no true relevance as to
what makes our world and society function.

 

It뭩 not politicians that can solve problems.

 

They have no technical capabilities.

 

They don뭪 know how to solve problems.

 

Even if they were sincere,
they don뭪 know how to solve problems.

That give you motor vehicles.

The true gift that we as human beings have,

that has improved our lives, is technology.

 

What is technology? Technology is a pencil,

 

which allows one to solidify
ideas on paper for communication.

 

Technology is an automobile, which
allows one to travel faster than feet would allow.

 

Technology is a pair of eye glasses,
which enables sight for those who need it.

 

Applied technology itself is merely
and extension of human attributes,

 

which reduces human effort,
freeing humans from a particular chore or problem.

 

Imagine what your life would be like today without
a telephone, or an oven, or a computer, or an airplane.

 

Everything in your home, which you take for granted;
from a doorbell, to a table, to a dishwasher is technology

 

generated from the creative
scientific ingenuity of human technicians.

 

Not money, politics, or religion.
These are false institutions.

The men in Washington should be at the forefront of technology.
The forefront of human study. The forefront of crime.

 

All the factors that shape human behavior.
You don뭪 have to write your congressman.

 

What kind of people are they
that are appointed to do that job?

 

The future will have great difficulty?and the question
that뭩 raised by politicians is: How much will a project cost?

 

The question is not: How much will it cost?, but:

 

Do we have the resources? And we have
the resources today to house everyone,

 

build hospitals all over the world,
build schools all over the world,

 

the finest equipment in labs for
teaching and doing medical research.

 

So you see, we have all that, but we뭨e in a
monetary system, and in a monetary system there뭩 profit.?

 

And what is the fundamental mechanism that
drives the profit system besides self-interest?

 

What is it exactly that maintains
that competitive edge at it뭩 core?

 

Is it high efficiency and sustainability?
No. That isn뭪 part of their design.

 

Nothing produced in our profit based society
is even remotely sustainable or efficient.

 

If it was, there wouldn뭪 be a multi-million dollar
a year service industry for automobiles.

 

Nor would the average lifespan for electronics
be less than three months before they뭨e obsolete.

 

Is it abundance? Absolutely not.

 

Abundance, as based on the laws of
supply and demand, is actually a negative thing.

 

If a diamond company finds ten times the
usual amount of diamonds during their mining,

 

it means the supply of diamonds has increased,

 

which means the cost and profit per diamond drops.

 

The fact is; efficiency, sustainability,
and abundance are the enemies of profit.

 

To put it into a word, it is the
mechanism of scarcity that increases profits.

 

What is scarcity?
It뭩 based on keeping products valuable.

 

Slowing up production on oil raises the price.
Maintaining scarcity of diamonds keeps the price high.

 

They burn diamonds at the Kimberly Diamond Mine.
They뭨e made of carbon. That keeps the price up.

 

So then, what does it mean for society when scarcity,

 

either produced naturally or through
manipulation is a beneficial condition for industry?

 

It means that sustainability and abundance
will never ever occur in profit system.

 

For it simply goes against the
very nature of the structure.

 

Therefore, it is impossible to have
a world without war, or poverty.

 

It is impossible to continually advance
technology to its most efficient and productive states.

 

And most dramatically, it is impossible to expect
human beings to behave in truly ethical or decent ways.

 

People use the word instinct because
they can뭪 account for the behavior.

 

They sit back and they evaluate
with their lack of knowledge,

 

and they say things like 멖umans are built a certain way.
Greed is a natural thing.?as though they뭗 worked for years on it.

 

And it뭩 no more natural than wearing clothing.

 

What we want to do is to
eliminate the causes of the problems.

 

Eliminate the processes that produce
greed, and bigotry, and prejudice,

 

and people taking advantage of one another,
and elitism. Eliminating the need for prisons and welfare.

 

We have always had these problems because
we have always lived within scarcity, and barter,

 

and monetary systems that produce scarcity.

 

If you eradicate the conditions that generate
what you call socially offensive behavior, it does not exist.

There is no human nature, there뭩 human behavior,
and that뭩 always been changed throughout history.

 

You뭨e not born with bigotry, and greed, and corruption,
and hatred. You pick that up within the society.

That is, there뭠l be very little significant change.

 

It뭩 going to take the redesigning of our culture, our values,
and it has to be related to the carrying capacity of the earth,

 

not some human opinion or some politicians
notions of the way the world ought to be.

 

Or some religion뭩 notion of
the conduct of human affairs.

If resources and technologies, applicable
to creating everything in our societies

 

such as houses, cities and transportation

 

were in high enough abundance,

 

there would be no reason to sell anything.

 

Likewise, if automation and machinery
was so technologically advanced,

 

as to relieve human beings of labor

 

there would be no reason to have a job

 

And with these social aspects taking care of,

 

there would be no reason to have money at all.

 

So the ultimate question remains:

 

Do we on earth have enough resources

 

and technological understanding

 

to create a society of such abundance,

 

that everything we have now
could be available without a price tag

 

and without the need for
submission through employment

 

Yes, we do!

 

We have the resources and
technology to enable this at a minimum,

 

along with the ability to raise
the standard of living so high

 

that people in the future will
look back at our civilisation now

 

and gawk how primitive and
immature our society was.

If there is a problem in society and you can't

if we use our technology wisely

Energy

 

At present we don't have to burn fossil fuels

 

We don't have to use anything that
would contaminate the environment

 

There are many sources of energy available

 

Alternative energy solutions
pushed by the establishment, such as

 

hydrogen, biomass and even
nuclear are highly insufficient, dangerous

 

and exist only to perpetuate the
profit-structure the industry has created

 

When we look beyond the
propaganda and self-serving solutions

 

put forth by the energy companies

 

we find a seemingly endless stream

 

of clean abundant and renewable
energy for generating power.

 

Solar and wind energy are well known to the public

 

But the true potential of
these mediums remains unexpressed

 

Solar energy derived from the sun has such abundance

 

that one hour of light at high noon contains more energy

 

than what the entire world consumes in a year

 

If we could capture 1/100 of this
energy the world would never have to use

 

oil, gas or anything else

 

The question it is not availability

 

but the technology to harnesst it

 

and there are many advanced mediums today

 

which could accomplish just that.

 

If they were not hindered by the
need to compete for market share

 

with the established energy power structures

 

Then there's wind energy.

 

Wind energy has long been denounced as weak

 

And due to being location driven, impractical.

 

This is simply not true.

that if wind was fully harvested
in just three of Americas 50 states

 

it could power the entire nation

 

And there are the rather unknown
mediums of tidal and wave power

 

Tidal power is derived

are currently noted as available

 

Forecasting that 34% of all the UK's
energy could come from tidal power alone

This means 50% of the entire planets energy

The prevailing means of transportation in
our societies is by automobile and aircraft.

In the case of the automobile,

for over two hundred miles on one charge, exists

 

and has existed for many years.

 

However, due to battery patents,
controlled by the oil industry,

 

which limits their ability to maintain market share,

 

coupled with political
pressure from the energy industry,

 

the accessibility and affordability
of these technologies is limited.

 

There is absolutely no reason, other
than pure, corrupt profit intersts,

 

that every single vechicle in
the world cannot be electric,

 

and utterly clean, with zero need for gasoline.

 

As far as airplanes, it is time we realized

 

that this means of travel is inefficient,

 

cumbersome, slow and
causes far too much pollution.

 

This is a mag-lev train.

 

It uses magnets for propulsion.

 

It is fully suspended by a magnetic field

 

and requires less then two
percent of the energy used

 

for plane travel. The train has no wheels,

 

so nothing can wear out. The current maximum speed

That holds people back. Freeing people from drudgery,
repetitive jobs which make them ignorant, you rob them.

 

In our society, that is a resourced
based economy, machines free people.

 

You see, we can't imagine that because
we never known that kind of world.

 

If we look back at history, we see a very clear pattern
of machine automation slowly replacing human labour.

 

From the dissapearence of the elevator man to the
near full automation of an automobile production plant.

 

The fact is, as technology grows the need for
humans in the work force will continioully be diemineshed.

 

This creates a serious clash, which proves the
falsness of the monitary based labour system.

 

For human employment is in direct
competition with technological developement.

 

Therefore given the fundamental
priority of profit by industry,

 

people through time will be continually
layed off and replaced by machine.

 

When industry takes on a machine
instead of shortening the work day,

 

they downsize. You loose your job
so you have a right to fear machines.

 

In a high technology resourced based economy,

 

it is conservative to say that about 90% of all
current occupations could be phased out by machines.

 

Freeing humans to live their life without servitude.
For this is the point of technology itself.

 

And through time with nano technology
and other highly advanced forms of science

 

it is not far fetch to see how even complex medical
procedures could be performed by machines as well.

 

And based on the pattern with much higher
success rates than humans get today.

 

The path is clear but our monetary based structure
which requires labour for income blocks this progress.

 

Humans need jobs in order to survive.

 

The bomb line is that this system must go or we will
never be free and technology will be constantly paralyzed.

 

We have machines that clean out
sewers and frees human being doing that.

 

So look at machines as
extensions of human performance.

 

Furthermore many occupations today will have
simply no basis to exist in a resourced based economy.

 

Such as anything assosiated with the management
of money, advertising along with a legal system itself.

 

For without money, a great majority of the crimes
that are commited today would never occur.

 

Virtually all forms of crimes are
consequence in the moneatry system,

 

either directly or by neurosis
inflicted through financial deprevation.

 

Therefore laws themselves
could eventually become extinct.

 

Instead of putting up a sign "drive carefully slippery when wet"
put a abrasive on the highway so it is not slippery when wet.

 

And when a person gets in car that drunk

 

and a car oscillates at great deal

 

there's a little pendulum

 

that swings up and back and that
will pull the car over to the side?

Put sonar and radar on automobiles

Man-made laws are attempts

 

to deal with occuring problems

 

and not knowing how to solve them

In the United States, the most privatised,

that it also has the largest prison population

Statistically, most of these people

 

are uneducated

 

and come from poor, deprived societies.

it is this enviromental conditioning, which

 

lures them into criminal and violent behaviour.

 

However society, looks the other way

 

and regard to this point.

 

The legal and prison systems
are just more examples

 

of how our society avoids examining

 

the root-causes of behaviour.

 

Billions are spend each year

 

on prisons and police,

 

while only a fraction is spend on

 

programs for poverty,

 

which is one of the most fundamental variables

 

responsible for crime to begin with.

 

And, as long as we have an economic system,

 

which preferes and infact creates

 

scarcity and deprivation,
crime will never go away.

 

If people have access to the necessities of life

 

without servitude, debt, barter, trade;
they behave very differently.

 

You want all this things
availabe without a price tag

 

Now then, you뭭e gotta have a price tag.

 

What will motivate people?

 

Men gets just everything what he wants,

 

he's just lay around in the sun.

 

This is the myth they perpetuate.

 

People in our culture are trained to believe

 

that the monetary system produces incentive:

 

If they have access to all things,
why should they want to do anything?

 

They would loose their incentive.

 

That's what you're taught to
support the monetary system.

 

When you take money out of the scenerio,

 

there would be different incentives,
very different incentives.

 

When people have access to the necessities of life,

 

their incentives change.

 

What about the moon and the stars?

 

New incentives arise.

 

If you make a painting, that you enjoy,

 

you will enjoy giving it to
other people - not selling it.

 

I think most of the education,
that I've seen today,

 

is essentially producing a person for a job.

 

It's very specialized.
They're not generalists.

 

People don't know a lot
about a lot of different subjects.

 

I don't think you can get people to go to war,

 

if they knew a lot about a lot of things.

 

I think education is mostly rote

 

and they're not taught how to solve problems,

 

they're not given the tools,
emotionally or whithin their own field,

 

of how to do critical thinking.

 

In a resource based economy,
the education would be very different.

 

Our society's major concern
is mental development

 

and to motivate each person

 

to their highest potential.

The smarter your kids are,

 

the better my life will be.

 

Because they'll be contributing more
constructively to the environment

Because everything that we devise

would be applied to society.

 

There would be nothing to hold it back.

 

Patriotism, weapons, armies, navies,

 

all that is a sign,

 

that we're not civilized yet.

Didn't you see the necessity of the machines?

 

Dad, couldn't you see, that war
was inevitable when you produce scarcity

 

when you produce scarcity?

 

Isn't it obvious?

 

Of course, the kid will understand

 

that you're pinheads - raised merely to serve

They뭠l just say that large nations took land
from smaller nations, used force and violence.

two of the most basic insights humans can have about reality.

 

The emergent and symbiotic aspects of natural law.

 

The emergent nature of reality is that all systems; whether it is
knowledge, society, technology, philosophy, or any other creation

 

will, when uninhibited, undergo fluid perpetual change.

 

What we consider commonplace today such
as modern communication and transportation,

 

would have been unimaginable in ancient times.

 

Likewise, the future will
contain technologies, realizations,

 

and social structures that we
cannot even fathom in the present.

 

We have gone from alchemy to chemistry,
from a geocentric universe to a heliocentric

 

from believing that demons were
the cause of illness to modern medicine.

 

This development shows no sign of ending,

 

and it is this awareness that aligns us and leads
us on a continuous path to growth and progress.

 

Static empirical knowledge does not exist, rather it is
the insight of the emergence of all systems we must recognize.

 

This means we must be open to new information at all times,
even if it threatens our current belief system, and hence, identities.

 

Sadly society today has failed to recognize this,

 

and the established institutions continue to
paralyze growth by preserving outdated social structures.

 

Simultaneously, the population
suffers from a fear of change.

 

For their conditioning assumes a static identity and challenging
ones belief system, usually results in insult and apprehension.

 

For being wrong is erroneously associated with failure.
When in fact to be proven wrong should be celebrated.

 

For it is elevating someone to a new
level of understanding, furthering awareness.

 

The fact is, there is no such
thing as a smart human being,

 

for it is merely a matter of time before
their ideas are updated, changed, or radicated.

 

And this tendency to blindly hold on to a belief system,

 

sheltering it from new possibly transforming information
is nothing less than a form of intelectual materialism.

 

The monetary system perpetuates this materialism
not only by it뭩 self-preserving structures,

 

but also throught the countless number of people

 

who have been conditioned into blindly
and thoughtlessly upholding these structures,

 

therefore becoming self-appointed
guardians of the status quo.

 

Sheep which no longer need
a sheep-dog to control them.

 

For they control each other by
ostracizing those who step out of the norm.

 

tendency to resist change and uphold
existing institutions for the sake of identity,

 

comfort, power and profit is completely unsustainable;

 

and will only produce further imbalance,
fragmentation, distortion, and very invariably destruction.

 

It뭩 time to change.

 

From hunters and gatherers, to the agricultural revolution,
to the industrial revolution, the pattern is clear.

 

It is time for a new social system which
reflects the understandings we have today.

 

The monetary system is a product of a
period of time when scarcity was a reality.

 

Now with the age of technology it is no longer relevant
to society. Gone with the aberrant behavior it manifests.

 

Likewise, dominant world views such as theistic
religion operate with the same social irrelevancy.

 

Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and all of the
others exist as barriers to personal and social growth.

 

For each group perpetuates a closed world view.

 

And this finite understanding that they acknowledge
is simply not possible in an emergent universe.

 

Yet religion has succeeded in shutting
down the awareness of this emergence

 

by instilling the psychological
distortion of faith upon it뭩 followers.

 

Where logic and new information is rejected
in favor of traditionalized outdated beliefs.

 

The concept of god, is really a method
of accounting for the nature of things.

 

In the early days people didn뭪 know enough about
how things formed, how nature worked.

 

So they invented their own little stories,
and the made god in their own image.

 

A guy that get뭩 angry when
people don뭪 behave right.

 

He creates floods, and earthquakes,
and they say it뭩 and act of god.

 

A cursory glance at the suppressed history of religion
reveals that even the foundational myths themselves

 

are emergent culminations developed
through influence over time.

 

For example a cardinal doctrine of the Christian
faith is the death and resurrection of Christ.

 

This notion is so important that the Bible itself states

 

멇nd if Christ be not risen then is our
preaching vain and your faith is also vain?

 

Yet it is very difficult to
take this account literally,

 

for not only is there no primary source
denoting this supernatural event in secular history,

 

awareness of the enormous number of pre-Christian
saviors who also died and were resurrected

 

immediately puts this story in
mythological territory by association.

 

Early church figures such as Tortullian
went to great lengths to break these associations,

 

even claiming that the devil
caused the similarities to occur.

 

Stating in the second century 멦he devil,
whose business is to pervert the truth,

 

mimics the exact circumstances of the Divine Sacraments.

 

He baptizes his believers and promises forgiveness of sins?

 

he celebrates the oblation of bread,
and brings in the symbol of the resurrection.

 

Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil,
who copied certain things of those that be Divine.

 

What is truly sad however, is that when we
cease the idea that the stories from Christianity,

 

Judaism, Islam and all the others are literal history,

 

and accept them for what they really are,

 

which are purely allegorical
expressions derived from many faiths,

 

we see that all religions share a common thread.

 

And it is this unifying imperative that
needs to be recognized and appreciated.

 

Religious belief has caused more fragmentation
and conflict than any other ideology.

 

Christianity alone has over 34,000 different subgroups.

 

The Bible is subject to interpretation.

 

When you read it, you say 멗 think
Jesus meant this. I think Job meant that.

 

Oh No! He meant this.?So you have the Lutheran,

 

the Seventh-day Adventist, the Catholic,
and a church divided is no church at all.

 

And this point on division, which is a trademark on all theistic
religions brings us to our second failure of awareness.

 

The false assumption of separation through
the rejection of the symbiotic relationship of life.

 

Apart from the understanding that
all natural systems are emergent,

 

where all notions of reality will be constantly
developed, altered, and even eradicated;

 

we must also understand that all systems are in fact
invented fragments merely for sake of conversation.

 

For there is no such thing
as independence in nature.

 

The whole of nature is a unified
system of interdependent variables,

 

each a cause and a reaction,
existing only as a concentrated whole.

 

You don뭪 see the plug to connect to the environment,

 

so it looks like we뭨e free?wandering around.

 

Take the oxygen away,
we all die immediately.

 

Take plant life away, we die. And without the sun,

 

all the plants die. So we are connected.

 

We really must take into account the totality.

 

This isn뭪 just a human experience on this planet,

 

this is a total experience. And we know we
can뭪 survive without plants and animals.

 

We know we can뭪 survive
without the four elements, you know?

 

And so, when are we really going to start taking that into account?

 

That뭩 what it is to be successful.

 

Success depends on how well
we relate to everything around us.

 

I뭢 very aware of the fact that my grandson
cannot possible hope to inherit a sustainable,

 

peaceful, stable, socially just world unless
every child today growing up today in Ethiopia,

 

in Indonesia, in Bolivia, in Palestine, in
Israel also has that same expectation.

 

You gotta take care of the whole community
or you뭨e gonna have serious problems.

 

And now we have to see that
the whole world is the community.

 

And we must all take care of each other that way.
And it뭩 not just a community of human beings,

 

a community of plants and animals and elements.

 

And we really need to understand that. That뭩
what뭩 gonna bring us joy too, and pleasure.

 

That뭩 what뭩 missing in our lives right now.

 

We can call it spirituality, but the fact of the
matter is joy comes from that bliss of connectedness.

 

That뭩 our god spirit. That뭩 that side of ourselves that
really feels it, and you can feel it deep inside you.

 

It뭩 this amazing wonderful feeling,
and you know it when you get it.

 

You don뭪 get it from money, you get it from connection.

It뭩 time to claim the unity our outmoded
social systems have broken apart,

 

and work together to create a sustainable global society
where everyone is taken care of and everyone is truly free.

 

Your personal beliefs, whatever they may be are
meaningless when it comes to the necessities of life.

 

Every human being was born naked,
needing warmth, food, water, shelter.

 

Everything else is auxiliary.

 

Therefore, the most important issue at hand is
the intelligent management of the Earth뭩 resources.

 

This can never be accomplished in a monetary system,

 

for the pursuit of profit is the persuit of self
interest and therefore imbalance is inherent.

 

Simultaneously, politicians are useless. For our
true problems in life are technical not political.

 

Furthermore, ideologies that separate humanity such as religion
need strong reflection in the community in regards to it뭩 value,

 

purpose and social relevancy. Hopefully
through time religion will loose it뭩 materialism

 

and basis in superstition and
move into the useful field of philosophy.

 

The fact is, society today is backwards,

 

with politicians constantly talking about
protection and security rather than creation,

 

unity and progress.

 

The US alone now spends about
$500 billions dollars anually on defense.

 

That is enough to send every high school
senior in America to a four year college.

 

In the 1940뭩 the Manhattan Project produced
the first true weapon of mass destruction.

 

This program employed 130,000
people, at an extreme financial cost.

 

Imagine what our life would be
like today if that group of scientists,

 

instead of working on a way of killing people, worked
on a way to create a self-sustaining abundant world.

 

Life today would be very very
different if that was their goal.

 

Instead of weapons of mass destruction,

 

it is time to unleash something much more
powerful.

 

Weapons of Mass Creation (WMCs).

 

Our true divinity is in our ability to create.

 

And armed with the understanding
of the symbiotic connections of life,

 

while being guided by the emergent nature of reality,

 

there is nothing we cannot do or accomplish.

 

Of course, we face strong barriers in the form of
established power structures that refuse to change.

 

At the heart of these structures is the
monetary system. As explained earlier,

 

the fractional reserve policy
is a form of slavery through debt,

 

where it is literally impossible for society to be free. In
turn, free market capitalism in the form of free trade,

 

uses debt to imprison the world and manipulate countries into
subservience to a handful of large business and political powers.

 

Apart from these obvious amoralities,
the system itself is based on competition,

 

which immediately destroys the possibility of
large scale collaborations for the common good.

 

Hence paralyzing any attempt
at true global sustainability.

 

These financial and corporate structures are now obsolete,

 

and they must be outgrown.

 

Of course, we can not be naive enough to think that the
business and financial elite are going to subscribe to this idea

 

for they will lose power and control.

 

Therefore, peaceful and highly
strategic action must be taken.

 

The most powerful course of action is simple.

 

We have to alter our behavior to force
the power structure to the will of the people.

 

WE MUST STOP SUPPORTING THE SYSTEM.

 

The only way the establishment will
change is by our refusal to participate

 

while continuously acknowledging
it뭩 endless flaws and corruptions.

 

They뭨e not gonna give up the monetary system,
because of our designs of what we뭗 recommend.

 

The system has to fail, and people have
to lose confidence in their elected leaders.

 

That will be a major turning point if The
Venus Project is offered as a possible alternative.

 

If not, I fear the consequences.

 

The trends now indicate that
our country is going bankrupt.

 

The probability is our country will
move towards a military dictatorship

 

to prevent riots and complete social breakdown.

 

Once the US breaks down, all the
other cultures will undergo similar things.

 

As of now, the world financial system is on the
brink of collapse due to it뭩 own shortcomings.

 

The comptroller of currencies stated in 2003
that the interest on the US national debt

 

will not be affordable in less than ten years.

 

This theoretically means total bankruptcy for the US
economy and it뭩 implications for the world are immense.

 

In turn the fractional reserve based monetary
system is reaching it뭩 theoretical limits of expansion

 

and the banking failures you
are seeing are just the beginning.

 

This is why inflation is skyrocketing, all
debt is at record levels and the government

 

and FED are hemorrhaging new
money to bailout the corrupt system.

 

For the only way to keep the banks
going is by making more money.

 

The only way to make more money
is to create more debt and inflation.

 

It is simply a matter of time before the tables turn

 

and no one is willing to make new loans while defaults
grow as people are unable to afford their current loans.

 

Then the expansion of money will stop and
contraction will begin on a scale never before seen.

 

Ending a century long pyramid scheme.
This has already begun.

 

Therefore, we need to expose this financial failure
for what it is, using this weakness to our advantage.

 

Here are some suggestions:

 

One. Expose the banking fraud.

 

Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, and Bank of America are the most
powerful controllers within the corrupt Federal Reserve system.

 

It뭩 time to boycott these institutions.

 

If you have a bank account or credit card with
any of them, move your money to another bank.

 

If you have a mortgage, refinance with another bank.

 

If you own their stock, sell it. If you work for them, quit.

 

This gesture will express contempt fo the true powers
behind the private banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve.

 

And create awareness about the fraud of the banking system itself.

 

Two. Turn off the TV news.

 

Visit the emerging independent news
agencies on the internet for your information.

 

CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX and all the others present
all news pre-filtered to maintain the status quo.

 

With four corporations owning all major media outlets,

 

objective information is impossible.

 

This is the true beauty of the internet.

 

And the establishment has been losing control
because of this free flow of information.

 

We must protect the internet at all times,
as it is truly our savior right now.

 

Three. Don뭪 ever allow yourself, your family,
or anyone you know, to ever join the military.

 

This is an obsolete institution now used exclusively
for maintaining an establishment that is no longer relevant.

 

US soldiers in Iraq work for US corporations, not the people.

 

Propaganda forces us to believe that war is natural
and the military is an honorable institution.

 

Well if war is natural, why are there 18 suicides every single day
by American veterans who have post-traumatic stress disorder?

 

If our military men and women are so honored, why is it that
25% of the American homeless population are veterans?

 

Four. Stop supporting the energy companies.

 

If you live in a detached house, get off the grid.

 

Investigate every means of making your
home self-sustainable with clean energy.

 

Solar, wind, and other renewable energies
are now affordable consumer realities,

 

and considering the never ending rising costs of traditional energies,

 

it will likely be a cheaper investment over time.

 

If you drive, get the smallest car you can and

 

consider using one of the many conversion
technologies that can enable your car to be a hybrid,

 

electric, or run on anything other than establishment fuels.

 

Five. Reject the political system.

 

The illusion of democracy is an insult to our intelligence.

 

In a monetary system, there is no such thing
as a true democracy, and there never was.

 

We have two political parties owned by the same set of corporate lobbyists.

 

They are place into their positions by the corporations,

 

with popularity artificially projected by their media.

 

In a system of inherent corruption the change of
personnel every couple of years has very little relevance.

 

Instead of pretending that the political game has any true meaning
focus your energy on how to transcend this failed system.

 

Six. Join the movement.

We must mobilize and educate everyone about
the inherent corruption of our current world system?

 

along with the only true sustainable solution,

 

declaring all the natural resources
on the planet as common heritage to all people,

The choice lies with you.

 

You can continue to be a slave to the
financial system and watch the continuous wars,

 

depressions and injustice across the globe while placating

which has the realistic ability to support
and free all humans with no one left behind.

 

But in the end the most relevant change must occur first inside of you.

 

The real revolution is the revolution of consciousness,

 

and each one of us first needs to eliminate the divisionary
materialistic noise we have been conditioned to think is true;

 

while discovering, amplifying, and aligning
with the signal coming from our true empirical oneness.
