- New way of selecting files, as well as Convert
To from Explorer there is also an
inbuilt file & folder
selector.
- Wave Files can be compressed to
any CODEC installed.
- 160 Kbps and 64 Kbps
compression options added to Mp3.
- When Overwrite existing files page is shown,
files can be given a new name by
clicking twice on the filename.
- Multithreaded, more responsive
on updating display when compressing.
- Can now Minimise SMC whilst
converting, % gone is shown on
the caption bar.
- Added Time Remaining.
- Total % bar now moves with File
%.
- If cancel (is now << Back) is pressed
whilst converting, a question is asked before
quitting, instead of just quitting (cancel could
be accidentally clicked).
- Bug Fix - WMA file creation, previously all new
WMA files were created as 64kbps no matter what
compression option was selected.
- Bug Fix - Found a section that would output
needless silence data at the end of the
conversion from WMA.
- Bug Fix - When writing MP3 files, the previous
version would create wrong speed or inaudable
files if the format of the data being converted
was not CD Quality.
- Bug Fix - Unbeknown to me, file associations can
be shared, so for example CD tracks (.CDA) could
be associated with a certain Mp3 player (spit :)
), the end result is that a .CDA file would get a
Convert To option, which would cause SMC
to crash. SMC now will not try to convert format
it cannot handle, it will report any problems at
the end.
- Bug Fix - Fixed color issues for users with
non-standard colors.
